Tiptoe

A dark and dreary road
Quietly I tiptoed
All battered I looked around
No sign of life, just barren ground
Wind blew, harsh and cold
Keeping its story untold
With its command, the leaves danced
Roaring like a tigress, I stood tranced

But I did not have time
So I continued my climb
I did not know where I was going
Darkness all around, I was just tiptoeing

Far away a wolf was crying
As the cry kept amplifying
I wondered what it was sad about
I reasoned it may have a doubt

I Looked forward, still no light
No mercy for my plight
I looked up at the shimmering sky
Oh! How bad I wanted to fly
I thought why not give it a try
It's always nice to soar high
I came down with a thud
Grass turned red with my trickling blood

I looked around for my friends
All I saw was broken ends
A tear came rolling down
I wiped it off with a little frown
It was just a modest fall
So I came back tall

And as I tiptoed
On that dreary road
The wolf kept crying
And the cry kept amplifying
I wondered what it was sad about
I reasoned it may have a doubt

Love Story

Why won't he get out my mind
I'm usually not of this kind
My heart is no more reliable
Trying to live a fable
Which it knows is a lie
But it still wants to fly

It's no more listening to my head
Makes me lie for hours in bed
Staring blankly at the ceiling
Trying to make out what it's feeling
It rushes ever time the phone rings
Hoping it's him
But now the hopes are getting dim

We still talk
and take those walks
But you keep talking about that girl
With pretty black curl
Don't you see, your talks make me sad
Have you forgotten everything we had?
I guess now you've gone
And I'm trying to move on

Can't you see it in my eyes
I'm the one who cries
I guess we were never meant to be

You can't even see
The pain I hide
When I smile that wide
Deep inside I want to cry
And whenever I give it a try
My heart starts to scream
Wishing this to be a dream
And I slowly go to sleep
I wake up randomly with a beep
It is a text from you
It says, " I've always loved you,
You remember that girl
With pretty black curl
That was actually you
You are the one for me
And I did see
The tears you used to hide
When you sat by my side
I'm sorry for all that
I remember everything we had
Baby, please come back to me
To my heart you are the key."

Afterlife

Deep down something hurts
Deep down something aches
Deep down something cries
Deep down something dies
Trying to uncage the beast
To honour the deceased
With the vain attempt
The cover remains kempt
The frosted hollow stone
The icy cold bone
The flawless mask
The unmarred facade
The soul tries to cry
Just a futile try

But then the night arrived
And it was all kept aside
With a deafening shriek
The beast set free
Eyes turning red
The carcass lay on the bed
Demons underneath
Took over the feast
They danced all night
A dreadful sight
The soul tried to cry
Just a futile try

The demons were awakened
But the gala had to end
Because the sun came up
The soul now corrupt
Was returned to the corpse
As time collapses and space warps
The decaying ruins
Forgot all about the fairy tail bruins
Every morning the hollow shell roams around
Every night demons emerge from the ground
The soul tries to cry
Just a futile try

Midnight

I closed my eyes,
saw you more clearly
let out a sigh,
I loved you so dearly

I looked at the stars
there were only a few
They said, "He may love you too,
if only he knew."

"He gave away his heart
A long, long time ago
It may still be with her
That's all I know."

"He may mask it all
But I see through the wall
With his face, it's hard to say
But his eyes give him away."

This isolation,
this desperation
I long for him,
but my heart reeks sin.

Memories of that night
Are still a little hazy
But I remember
him next to me
the warmth of his love,
the rhythm of his heart,
the comfort of his hug,
and the serenity of his soul.

"Oh! Great you are finally here."
He said,"You are dreaming, my dear. "
