Awaken

Stealing, killing and all other crimes
 This world is going bad
 What happened to the joy and peace
 That we once had

Everyone wants to blame God
 For our selfish and hateful ways
 But it is us that needs to let his light shine
 In these darkest days 

Kids being hurt
 And husbands beating wives
 Read the bible people 
 That is the only way to really save lives

Don't blame God 
 For all this corruption
 Be the light in someone's dark
 No matter your assumption

God made us to love each other
 But now days hate has grown
 We must put God back in the picture
 Or to heaven we will not be going

Restore faith and humanity 
 So eternal life we shall get
 And when we die
 By him we shall sit

So pray for each other
 And put all hate aside 
 Because in heaven with him
 Is where I want to reside
