A Bad Feeling

I had this feeling that something was about to happen,
What it was I wasn't sure ,good or bad I wasn't going to ignore,
With the twitching of my eyes and the palpitations of my heart,
I prayed and waited hoping it was something good ,
But feared it could be bad.

It was a gift I wished I had never had,
For it only made others mad,
A crazy feeling a stupid feeling a feeling that just won't go away,
I pray each day I would wake up and it will be there no more,
But I last had this feeling six months ago,
Now I try my best to wipe it away with prayer every day,
Oh how I wish this feeling would go away.

Betrayed

Betrayed
First it was the late nights,
Then came the big fights along with the boozing and beating.
I usually kept quiet then turned of the light when he fell asleep.
I loved him oh! Yes I did but he was just like all the rest.
I knew he he was having an affair and prayed it was just a nightmare,
He cheated and manipulated me and thought it was cool but it only made me look like a fool.
He said he loved me but needed space but we all knew he was just a waste.
He roamed around with every girl in town and then came home with a huge frown,
Late at night when he entered the room,he always smelt of women's perfume.
One day when I couldn't take it anymore,
I packed my bags and walked through the front door,
Now I am all alone but at least I am free from his evil world of
Betrayal.

It Was One of Those Mornings

Furious,frustrated and fearful,
I woke up with no purpose of wanting to live another day,
When everything you worked so hard for was just slipping away,
Confused and concerned knowing that there was no other way,
But to walk up and say Hi! I am here to stay,
And wondering how I am going to make it through this day.
Jitters on my knees as sweat ran down my tee's,
I prayed I get the job for all my good deeds.

After awhile I was called in the room,
Without a haste I was over moon,
The job was mine ,feeling excited, exhilarated and
Eager to tell someone,I got on my phone and told everyone.
I was so relaxed, relieved and renewed knowing
I was back in the game.
