Betrayed
Betrayed
First it was the late nights,
Then came the big fights along with the boozing and beating.
I usually kept quiet then turned of the light when he fell asleep.
I loved him oh! Yes I did but he was just like all the rest.
I knew he he was having an affair and prayed it was just a nightmare,
He cheated and manipulated me and thought it was cool but it only made me look like a fool.
He said he loved me but needed space but we all knew he was just a waste.
He roamed around with every girl in town and then came home with a huge frown,
Late at night when he entered the room,he always smelt of women's perfume.
One day when I couldn't take it anymore,
I packed my bags and walked through the front door,
Now I am all alone but at least I am free from his evil world of
Betrayal.
