The Pirates Life For Me

yo ho yo ho into the horizon i go
the wind at my back the wood under my feet
a treasure awaits calling my name
the black flag ive raised warn those who see
this beautiful dowry i call home
a bounty still stands a price on my head
they wont have a trial just shoot me instead
ill plunge and ill plunder till the gallows call me home
the pleasure it gives me sends chills through the bone
i love this life gliding across the sea
yo ho yo ho a pirates life for me

Lets Start a Fire

Lets start a fire for all the world to see
The flames so bright they break the night and glisten gleefully

Lets start a fire to Break the chains and molds
The heat so great it melts the forms eliminates the cold

Lets start a fire that sets our souls ablaze
A fire that burns brighter than the sun and burns throughout the days

Lets start a fire so huge it reaches deep inside
The corners of the earth glowing there is nowhere left to hide

Lets start a fire that sparks forward the truth
The flames so great it swelters forward the new fountain of youth

Lets Start a fire for me and you to share
Iv'e got the lighter who will join me lets burn away despair

Enter the Angel

I have been stricken with the feeling of life
Her luminescence reaches to the inner most weak parts of me
as she smiles i feel the worlds rotation as if were one
the colors of earth turn to nothing while she radiates vividness from within
The feeling of a complete and utter loss of all reality
ive never been more entranced by such an angel
the angel strips me of all my walls my strongholds crumble
this being that came to be mine from the heavens above
the last piece to the jigsaw of life
my daughter my precious I created this child
She brings out the best of me
The diamond in the rough no longer hidden away
I am so thankful i see her everyday

Shiver

the smell of midnight envelopes my nostrils
here i am stuck in the darkness
a sound from the corner starts the shiver
once i had the light it consumed me whole
the entrapment of the pleasure to see only what i wanted
it stays in the damaged brain i now call a home
ive adopted this new pleasure its gigantic
whats waiting in the pitch black
its coming soon to show me
The sound from the infinite starts again the shiver

Release

Breaking the silence the storm begins to churn
darkness creeps upon my being from every direction
A lone lion stands at the doorway awaiting my breath
the yellow eyes of evil staring at the shadow of a former man
I remember the feeling of fear from when i was a young boy
Now nothing inside flinches as the predator draws near
I feel the breeze no longer move as the floor creaks beneath bloody paws
the taste of the last cigeratte runs across my tounge
I close my eyes as the shadow envelopes myself
The storm no longer burns through my body
Instead the peaceful retreat of nothing stays
The yellow eyes at the door still waiting for my breath

The Window

Today i saw your face in the window
it was me when i focused on the image
you have given me the best of all memories
the color fades from the picture that i hold in my hands
the corners are withered so are my insides
if given the chance to hear your voice
the emotions
ill walk past this window once or twice a day
to see your face as i do when i look out onto the rain
the angels crying
ive gotten this far since the lord took you home
ill get even farther when i look in the window
im thirty now as when you left i was fifteen
believe me when i see the reflection
its not hard for this man to say sadly
i miss my father this boy sometimes misses daddy

Pleasure Or Pain

when will i ever go into sleep mode
i long for the dark sweet sense of nothing
it rips at my body wanting to take over
the fleeting feelings of the mind
once the pain wears off im back to full speed
i blister in the heat of the sensation
painfull memoires of the years past
look into the empty holes in my face
is there anybody out there

The Road

The road leads to somewhere
the toll sometimes greater than needed
the road leads to nowhere
the dead end ever dreaded

The road is filled with hazards
always keeping you bent on edge
The road is filled with sympathy
always allowing you to continue forward

The road is Never shaped the same
always bent and contorted
The road is long and contused
choose to walk ride or run

The road is full of passion
life love and happiness
The road is full of Aggression
Anger pain and turmoil

The road is always changing
never allowing you to get comfortable
The road is always demanding attention
Always making you the decider

The road will always be there
even if you stray of path
The road will always guide you
if you feel youve lost your way

The road may be hard to see
through rain and snow and dark
the road will lead to everything
The road is beating to the same tune as your heart

Maybe Tomorrow

The moon settles into the midnight sky
the pale light strikes my skin
a glimpse of dark torture
Silence in its most splitting form
alone i stand in the narrow river of life
echos of the past clamor about
smiles and tears anger and love
they touch the soul deeper than any fortunes can
i have been down i had a beautiful life
silence escapes giving way to the beat of my heart
maybe tomorrow ill find the way home
perhaps the path will soon be clear
the moon settles into the midnight sky
the pale light stands with me free to break the darkness

Woods of Lone

Its a long road when your all alone
Traveling through the dark no signs of light
The demon pulls me off the trail
the road disappears from underneath me
I allowed myself to turn away from the good
now I wander through the forest of solitude
Thorns dig into my hands as I reach out ahead
Ripping the skin and burning the flesh
The ground trembles as I travel farther
Farther into the thickets filled with sorrow
Voices scream all around me, Their cries I cant make out
I feel what they feel deep inside
The ball begins to tighten pulling vigorously at my heart
The demon flees from inside me afraid to continue as I go deeper
Suddenly now im frozen I cant hardly breath
The trees show their true form frowning upon my dark soul
angry snarls fade to silence as they slowly part above me
a Pale light now appears in the middle of the dark
No sky no stars no clouds just the moon
He speaks and calls me a fool then turns his back to me and disappears into nothing
The trees once again peering into me
I feel their arms reaching for me still frozen in place
As they get closer I feel the brush on my cheek
The ground opens and swallows me now a smile on his face
