Woods of Lone
Its a long road when your all alone
Traveling through the dark no signs of light
The demon pulls me off the trail
the road disappears from underneath me
I allowed myself to turn away from the good
now I wander through the forest of solitude
Thorns dig into my hands as I reach out ahead
Ripping the skin and burning the flesh
The ground trembles as I travel farther
Farther into the thickets filled with sorrow
Voices scream all around me, Their cries I cant make out
I feel what they feel deep inside
The ball begins to tighten pulling vigorously at my heart
The demon flees from inside me afraid to continue as I go deeper
Suddenly now im frozen I cant hardly breath
The trees show their true form frowning upon my dark soul
angry snarls fade to silence as they slowly part above me
a Pale light now appears in the middle of the dark
No sky no stars no clouds just the moon
He speaks and calls me a fool then turns his back to me and disappears into nothing
The trees once again peering into me
I feel their arms reaching for me still frozen in place
As they get closer I feel the brush on my cheek
The ground opens and swallows me now a smile on his face
