A single note...
hums;
of silence

Mary Garden Poem
Morning light appears...
amber, red and orange sighs;
memories of you lying in my arms

Mary Garden Poem
I woke up at daybreak
to find a stranger's face beside me
after another night of your absence.

Mary Garden Poem
It's hard to say goodbye to you for when it's about time to-we linger over coffee or
tarry over tea that before I know it, the cocks are crowing, the sun is rising, and
the clock is showing: five in the morning.
My mom's all worried, my dad doesn't show it, but I know that they're thinking,
pacing the room and saying; "she said that she'll be late but no more than half
past eight!" While I'm with you some place... conversing, laughing and all the
more lacking; the necessary haste.
When I state I'm to meet you our dog starts looking blue, my best friend gets
doubtful, my empty room remains hopeful...I'll be home I swear but with you I end
up elsewhere. I've tried to explain to them and myself too, that it's simply hard to
say goodbye to you.

Mary Garden Poem
If ever you feel the need
to burn and to bleed;
love and abandon.

Mary Garden Poem
Softly I leave you....
all silk and ivory
your skin glowing in my memories.
How many times have I left in such a rush?
Too many perhaps
as my spouse has forgotten
my presence in her room
in these past hours
I have stolen with you.

Mary Garden Poem
Sunlight slowly filtered the room
as you blissfully sleep.
I then realized with utter defeat;
that I hate waking up in a stranger's bed.

Mary Garden Poem
We carefully step on summer's sidewalks
and hear stories of your winters...
as spring is to stay forever
all year we look at green leaves.
