Until Then

I know this is hard and some promises are hard to keep we said goodbye I watched as you wept. From this time forward please be strong this darkness wont last long our boat will make it through the worst of this weather. If you find yourself lost and unable to carry on just remember the words to our song and know that one day I'll return to you. Until then remember my embrace the way my hands caressed your face I love you always until then.

Obsidian Room

You left me here chained and bound you know my fears, I reached for you and you were'nt there lost and distant my soul I bare. Take off this blindfold so I can see you dance in front of me with malice glee. I've fallen for you I'm frightened of you tape my wings so I can't fly break the dawn so I can't rise drop the veil so I can see just what it is you've done to me.

My eyes are open but my mind is closed I feel so naked with all these clothes
unlock my chains so I can feel Is this illusion finally real you are my nemesis it's been
revealed.

Held captive in my obsidian room I drift away you stay awake
Held captive in my obsidian room I drifed away you stayed away

I've fallen for you I'm frightened of you tape my wings so I can't fly
break the dawn so I can't rise drop the veil so I can see just what it is
you've done to me.

Held captive in my obsidian room I turn my back to face the moon
Held captive in my obsidian room to rebuild my minds ancient runes

Long Road

It's been a long road my feet are so worn
I thirst I ache my knees begin to shake
Still I carry on. Going to make my home
In a better place gone slay my demons face
To face. Pick up the pieces of my broken faith
Put them back together in this brand new space,
My dreams were big but my bridge to small I've tested
My resolve. It's been a long road I've traveled many miles
To start all over this I swear I will not fail my dreams to mighty
For another hellish fight I've built my own road paved in gold this is
my prize this is my rise.

Hush

Scream his name if you feel like he will hear you his sick delight. Save your voice
now sit by the light soon you'll dance with the devil in the pale moonlight

Hush and listen to his favorite song this torment wont last long
he gave you shelter still you seek the rain you gave remorse your
prayer is in vain.

Hush just give in precious time is wasting no final words condemned
by your psalms was in this blood eat of his bread pay for his dread.
Hush, Please child hush listen to the screams.

Hush watch the dispair wash away down corridors streams, was it just
a dream. Now hush was it all a dream.

15 Years This Old House

After fifteen years this old house looks the same, same old paint peeling from the window pane. I watched the world go by from this old porch I've laughed I've cried had my first kiss those days I've missed. When I walk inside and touch these walls I'm reminded of love and lost pain and rain like it plays on a movie screen it aches I long for those days after fifteen years this old house can still bring me to my knees. It's amazing what wood and nails remember. The sounds the smell the heaven the hells the death the birth the tears it's all right here. As I look around his old vacant house as it was fifteen years ago I'd give my all for one more night the way it use to be to see my past through these future eyes. A lot has changed but one thing remains the same, in another fifteen years me and this old house might not be standing but memories will never fade.
