Take This Pill

Here take this pill
Here take this pill
Here take this pill
and again and again
Until seven pills stayed
One doctor for this
One doctor for that
and one doctor who just puts it all in his computer
I have a sniffle, are you sure
I think I' sick, are you sure
My back hurts, are you sure
What medications are you taking
I feel this was
I feel that way
I feel feeling like everyone else
And all they want to know is what meds I am taking
I hide behind my looks
so mundane and normal
hoping no one sees me
This shell is killing me
I change my hair
I change my look, one that suits me
I see eyes widen up
I hear expressions of wow...um ok
This is my true skin that wakes up my soul
I am not typical
I know I am severely judged
What meds are you taking

Colors

Like a cavity in my soul
Heart empty like no blood to spare
Further of darkness endures

Colors surround me
Everywhere they land
I hate the colors and all that they are
Why crave the darkness
When colors land at your feet
To many people know color
I see shades of black white and grey

I hang in a mundane world
Suspended in time
Waiting for my feet to meet the ground
In the darkness of my own he'll
I refuse color
So I will never ascend

I'M Void

I shouldn't be here today, my plans got derailed.
So now I sit, eat and do nothing.
I'm a huge void.
People talk, I smile and I say yes I'm doing good.
All the while I want to say screw you and leave me alone.
I feel like a baby now, being watched over,
people scared to even let me pee
But when this started, when the signs were there, no one cared.
