Scars Untrailed

Scars so deep the trails, the trails are untraceable.
A smile, a smile that's been forced and faked more than once.

Voice, a voice that's been silenced so many times
I cant recall how I sound.

Me, I have endured more than I needed
to be served to me on a steel plate.
Look at me, the life in me has been yearning to be reborn again.

I am a woman born to be an individual that should stand firm and rooted.
Rooted to what she solely believes to be true.

I am caught up in a web of confusion and twisted emotions.
Lost in a maze of my own feelings.

I am gradually learning to find the connection between Me and reality.

Uncoloured

Uncoloured
Untailored
Unzipped
Untied
Unmasked
Untangled

I am unidentified, for no-one can claim to know the depth of my well.
I am no coloured frame of happiness.
I am no tailored garment.
I am not a zipped up pants
I am not a perfectly tied up ponytail.
I am masked with flaws yes.
I am untangling myself from a deeper web.

I am too uncoloured to fit.

Uncertainty

Uncertainty...

Back and forth in time.
Ups and downs seem to be all we have.
A tug of war in our love time.
Im lost in all the yes and no moments.
I want us to be in my mind and heart.
A part of me says let go for better coz I have seen your worst.
If I could hide the pain in my eyes I would.
Every thought of us brings floods of mixed emotions through me.

Uncertainty seems to weigh heavier on me than all the other trials ive faced.
The love was real.
The love was true and alive in every sense.
Im uncertain if I really want it back.
You see the lows over rided all the good we had.
Im tired, maybe im too afraid too move on.

Im babling I see.

Missing Me

Me
What happened to me
Who dimmed my light so much I can't find a spare light.

Me
Who stepped on my shadow
Who toyed with my hearts strings and broke my tune.

Me
Who fiddled with my map and changed the signs.
Who tried to stop the beat of my hearts beat.

Missing Me...

Deeper Than Deep

Deeper Than Deep

I thought you had me closely locked in your grip
Silly me trusting another with all that binds me to myself.

I kinda sort of let all of me go with that strong embrace
With that first hello, that forehead kiss really did spin my little world around.
That you can sit on my lap offer, oh my did my heart do hand stands.

Those long drives to no particular destination always had me smiling from deep down in my soul of souls.
I thought I had you closely wrapped inside my hearts of hearts.
You know the inner heart to your original heart.. Yes that is where I thought I had kept you.

I knew from the first storm that you had escaped from that locked in safe
I knew right there at that moment, when you pinned me to the wall that I had and you had lost me forever.

I tried to recollect those broken pieces of our love puzzle
I kept picking them up every single time you kept disconnecting them.

Was I in love alone?

I mean you were there physically and sometimes mentally
But was I in our love all alone.
In love with more than what was being served at the buffet table of feelings and
emotions.

My mental being had to separate from my emotional being, for me to realize that I was in love deeper than deep.
