Virtual Reality

Deep as defeat as conspicuous
As the influx of presentiment

Passion is aimless humility
Panic is native to injury

Reasoning divulging odium
Sparkles unchosen but chemical

Puritans' speechless delivery
Idles in syllables neutral to
Carpet biology tapestries
Woven in Persian but personal
Surfaced in diamonds and sodium
Burnishing flavorful scaffolding
Sauntering over the savagery
Blanketing social impurity

Witnesses! Silence the speechlessness!
Caution the ignorant eagerly!

Woe as the end of the suffering
Millions of eyes as the visual.

Scrutiny

Sadness scrambles to survive
and tears become termites

Self reliant moles taint speechless lips
and form explanations yet to ripen

Tears that reject wiping
smear pride's respiratory system
leaving heart beat unpuffed

Humility is Reality

What makes sense
is not always understood...
And weeping ensues.

Happy Anniversary

A meditative sun squints
At a cloud imbibing atmosphere
As stars blaze the quilt of night

“To dawn,” says Tick Tock
And the darkness rises
And their doubt shrinks

On the day that forever promises
A will to stop trying
Caution idles motionless

From the gardens of proposal
Walking towards a sea of matrimony
Love blossoms chosen

A bond is sounded hand and ear
A contract sealed to each finger
A covenant resounds from this day forth

 As days advance
And nights are spent
Today is…
For he and she always.

From the End

Desolation blinks steam rises as earth's suffix
The omega spoke through chain clanging gravel movement
Immorality runs rampant fully disclosed
Drug use becomes the norm legalizing blinding
And we continue to demoralize morals
Mankind walks parting destiny from fear with doubt
               Time Tasted
Today is Today the same as yesterday was
I saw my own mistake corrected by prayer
From hating this place to wondering why is how
Life confined and oppressed at the same time is why
To deserve a punishment that can't seem unfair
Self love over zealous will exist as no love
             Move Forward
The interrogation was as pointless as sin
My face showed zero emotion on that morning
Last night was the same as the day before non stop
For two years before then I should have remained free
And they all loved me but back then love escaped me
As sweat moistens theory my face gilds crimson
              Life free spilled
The time was 4:44 when the answer came
The change between am and pm was the same
Thanking God was not my ritual in times past
Music was the oxygen crime was the basis
So the crimes I committed explained two faces
The good and bad side of y'all in me is just half
              Silence Failed
With Athleticism
Through raw talent ignored
Like A Haunted Spirit
Lives in cracks and crevices
As the good that life lost...
           and left...
                   Life began

Broken Letter

Greetings!
Are you well? Stuck in hell with a life to run through? With a shell covering your secrets and a mask over your feelings??? You can change if you want to and it is my duty to tell you the truth. This truth forgives with an unforgiving forgiveness that leaps at each chance to advance itself ahead of what we think are our priorities. What is important to you? In the middle of nothing using a dormant view?? That will negate the greed with which an informant sees??? To live as a minority in a society that tells us "It's ok to be who you are. Just...Don't...Be...who you are" can lead to conflicting circumstances. And tendencies that worship sand can push hands to grab ministries that land feet on thin ice. Thin ice breaks, feet get frostbit but wings...by God...wings float us away from troubled outcomes. So to be afraid of what the world gave us shaves trust by the handfuls. And those palms sprinkle palms along the crooked smiling flow of the Euphrates river...upstream toward the center of your design let each line change your mind. Why not? What more is there? Turn with sordid warfare course stares and sliced lots...how can we share and not care for the right spot? Then the door taps with a light knock. Long winded admonishing opens the minds of socioeconomic close minded polishing...shining blind guidance through upchucked science leading you towards the light. Can we walk there together?

Sincerely. Your Conscience

PS
Sharpened cloud covering raining
altered speckles of redemption
that claims our man made tendencies
glides over sin fatigued flesh

Seeping into each pore
that redeemer strips us of plagued habits
redefining our appearance
Sound visits an inaudible eardrum
The melody is clear of imperfection.

Your eyes open to a world free of immorality
As the clouds disappear...

Drunken Moon

Life's gaze guzzler
Drowning face deep in flaked soot
shines waxing crescent.

Pain and Suffering

The larval stage that insinuates
a protective agony made of silk
Interlaces incipience quilted diametrically
Which twitches against cogitation and reasoning closing in...
The same as guilt
Or what guilt started as.

Unforeseen contingency's photo flash
An illusion based on disappointment.
Crime.

Each searching for a way to Each searching for a way to multiply
Or the beauty to escape life's cocoon
without wings.
Moving without strings guided towards confusion.
The maze made of milk.
So I tell myself, "Everything will be OK."
But why do I feel worthless...
When what I'm getting is good for me?

Surprise! Feelings don't change until you do
Society fakes the facade as usual
And crime stays...
So I use words as wings and fly, fly away.

Felonious Funk

In what way shall I improvise myself?
Shall I memorize the first way I felt?
And my origin from West Africa
Through the European landing in hell?

Jelly with a honeysuckle belly
Make it catch like rhythm that unfolds
Unremembering the hell til it tells me
Live like I act like a story untold.

Ragtime Naptown bands in syncopation
Dixieland Creole bred pause for the cause
Sax make it take it banjo behave it
Clarinet trombone tuba and guitar

String bass and pluck mashing in your face
Swing like I tap dance on boogie shaped clouds
Ella King Vaughn touch it fast then it shake
Mean as a blues song on turn it up now.

Then I gain recognition streams freed me
On to an atonal sound without bop
And I'm not in any definite key
Remembering not remember locks.

Curse of the Facade

"Poeta Nascitur Non Fit"

Hated decades ago
Accepted a decade ago
Glorified now
To the extent
of what we are horrified by

Painted tainted enlarged adjusted
Altered lessened sculpted tatted
A misrepresentation of our creative space
Now you are different if you are not

And the crowd screams, "Vive La Difference"!
As oath breakers call upon the Now
Learning lessons learned in the fog
To make the fog lace

We were under dressed anyway
And at odds with peace
Waiting for options
That are fail safe

Hic et nune...Hic et ubique
gardez la foi
Vox populi...Vox Dei
Gardez la foi

Or trouble will come
which will leave us asking
"Where did we go wrong?"

Quie'n Sabe?

Forgetting forgot to forget
what to forgive
and who not to
and so here we are

In a state of constant acceptance
consumed by society's need
to remain the same
in a constant state of change

Yet we are forewarned...

Not to be physically immoral
Not to be thieves
Not to be greedy
Not to be wrong

But we deceive ourselves
and submit
We disease ourselves
and admit it and live through it
and say, "it's right"
when we know it's wrong.

Do you remember
when we couldn't act
like what we weren't
Or be who we were not??

We play with destiny
and it's forbidden activity
like climbing a latter
with broken arms

Lean forward step light
Listen hard

It ain't even real to be real no more
so why try if you ain't

It ain't even real to be real no more
Now it's real to be fake.
