Eternal Flame of Love

Lost in the darkness, found in the light.
Hidden in a fortress,
Safety surrounds you in the night.
Too hot to touch, So brightly burning.
Missing each other so much,
And yet the feeling is yearning.
Clasped together in a fiery embrace;
Two bodies becoming one.
Silhouettes outlined with the fingers' trace.
Nothing but ashes left when all is done.
Flames growing stronger,
Reaching toward Luna mother.
Passion that can't last much longer;
As we spirits of old cling to each other.
Say a prayer, a blessing, a spell
For our love to outlast all others.
Do you hear the ringing of the Celtic Bells
As our wish is granted by our Goddess Mothers.

The Incantation of a Witch In Love

Sun of yellow;
Rose so red.
Guide this fellow
To thy bed.

Sky of blue;
Water so clear.
Let him be true,
Bring him near.

Grass of green;
Earth so round.
Let his love be seen-
Heard without sound.

The Guardians of the Woods

Watching over the trees and flowers
They are a constant reminder
That life is lived hour by hour
And there is nothing finer.

Singing their silent song that mortal ears can not hear
They play in the trees and swing from the branches on high
Mere humans can not tell when they are near
But on the warm breeze you can hear them sigh.

Dressed in natures wonders and bathed in dew drops
The tree sprites watch over the forest with all seeing eyes
They see everything there is to see from the tree tops
For as we grow older, they grow wise.

Who Are You

Ever think of what your life might mean
If you were anyone other than who you are?
You, who has the ability to dream,
To walk on clouds and swing from a star.

Yet you sit there so quietly
Watching time fly,
Lost in thoughts of what might be
If you couldn't laugh or cry.

A simple existence of solitude,
So much of yourself lost,
Hidden inside, doing your best to elude,
To be alone no matter the cost.

Ever think of what your life might mean
To be who you really are?
Allow yourself to yell and scream;
To be cut by love and wear the scar.

Always With Me

Sit and watch, and wait and see.
For one day you shall belong to me.

Whisper or yell, it does not matter.
I will always hear your voice above the clatter.

Walk or run, or drive away.
For you will be back with me someday.

House of Broken Dreams

A mountain side with a view
Four walls and a floor
Windows that never need cleaned
A roof overhead
Carpet or linoleum it doesn't matter
A tub and shower used daily
Food on the table to eat
Water to drink when I'm thirsty
A bed to rest in when the day is done
Blankets made of flannel or silk what do I care
Just something to keep me warm
Clothes on my back and shoes on my feet
Material possessions make up the world I live in
But they won't build a home for me
For I live in a house of broken dreams.

Life's Many Journey's

Looking back to the day we met,
I see a girl that I'll never forget.
She was petite and frail and full of smiles,
Who would have thought she would travel so many miles.
She felt alone and misguided in her journey through life,
Thought know one would notice her tears and her strife.
She traveled down one path to no avail,
Then another again just to fail.
She was so blinded by her friends peer pressures,
That she quickly lost site of those things she treasured.
Up one hill just to stumble back down,
Not noticing who it was that lifted her body from the ground.
Confused and hurt by what she thought life had dealt her,
She got into one thing after another.
Decisions were made that she would later regret,
People who loved her she tried to forget
Lost and alone she cried out in pain,
Tears began to fall like drops of rain.
She had gone as far as her body would allow,
She was left with no choice but to turn back now.
