Unwanted Child

I cry out loud,
Waiting for someone to come and hold me in their arms,
Telling me that it will be alright,
Though I know it's not.

Around, all around, the dark memories gather,
My fear grows as the pain of your words fall against my heart,
It wounds me to the core,
How can fate be so cruel to me,
Though everything I do is for you,

I pretend that I can fly,
But I’m falling from the sky,
Only to land on the unforgiving ground,
An Unwanted child.

My Sorrow Is My Curse

My sorrow is deeper,
Than the ocean.
The agony I feel,
Is unbearable,
A pain I cannot withstand.
It’s like a great burden,
Has been placed on my shoulders.
I can no longer bear the pain,
Of the past and present.
My Sorrow Is My Curse.

My sorrow grips my soul,
In an icy hold,
Dragging me down,
Into the dark, unforgiving abyss.
The pain grows steadily worse,
Each and every day,
Every second that passes by,
Every minute,
Every hour…
Just burns another hole,
Into my heart.
My Sorrow Is My Curse.

The sorrow,
Is tearing me apart each day,
Little by little,
A part of me is worn away.
By the time,
I have finished growing,
There won’t be any trace,
Of whom I once was.
My Sorrow Is My Curse.

Each day,
My pain grows steadily worse,
As every person,
That comes near me,
Always has to leave my side,
One way or another,
My Sorrow Is My Curse.

Time is running out,
I am no longer,
The sweet, innocent child,
That I once was.
I am almost gone,
Disappearing into the void,
Full of anger and hate,
I sink deeper and deeper,
Trying to find a way,
Out of the darkness,
But to no avail.
My Sorrow Is My Curse.

Vows that cannot be replaced,
Are broken without a second glance,
Promises of hope,
And love,
Are wrecked and crushed.
Nothing is safe anymore,
There is no one to trust,
Nothing to grip on to,
My hold on trust,
And on life,
Is slowly ebbing away,
My sorrow is my curse.

My last hour draws near,
Here in the dark,
No one else is around,
Forever alone,
My Sorrow Is My Curse.

War Has Come

Bullets whizz by,
Like the rain,
On a stormy day,
As bodies dropped here and there,
Blood soaking into the ground,
And into boots of America’s soldiers.
War Has Come.

Lets go back in time,
To see what happened before the war.
It all started with a smile,
People laughing out loud,
Seeing the sun shine behind the clouds,
Seeing family members be happy.
War Has Come.

Thinking of the past,
America’s troops have hope for the future.
When one dies,
The whole world knows their name.
Families grieve for their husbands,
Daughters, brothers, and wives.
War Has Come.

I cannot pretend to know how you feel,
But know that I’m here for you,
Reach for my heart,
Cause its held out to you,
 My shoulders are small,
But you can cry on them too.
Everything changes,
But know this,
I’m here for you.
War Has Come.

The Angel's Ashes

As she lies there cold and still,
With a peaceful smile upon her face,
Tears fall from the heavens,
Landing upon the blackened ground,
As I sit there silent and full of grief.

Falling from the heavens I cry out loud,
Begging for release of the pain of loss,
Or at least some hope.

I know that you’re gone,
But I can still feel you here next to me,
As I look upon the rising dawn,
I realize that I can be free.

In the stillness of my imagination,
I see you smiling and happy,
I can tell that you finally found a safe haven,
I cannot believe that this ended sadly.

Time withered away the hurtful tragedy,
In the air of evening the skies echo,
Rejoicing the time of your memory,
As we lay you to rest in the peaceful meadow.

In time all of the anguish will fade,
As the river flows on by towards the sea,
And all that has been weighed,
Shall be set free.

Mr Freeze

I wasn’t always this cold-hearted,
Judged by all who hate me,
Guess I’m always disregarded,
By those who do not wish to see,
The truth behind the thuggery.
As I walk among the shadows of my weary soul,
While avoiding the harsh cries,
Of the deception and lies,
My fear and hatred takes its tole.
While my fear and hatred takes its tole,
As I walk the road to hell,
Upon my weary soul,
Held together by an ancient spell.
I may not be caring or kind,
But I am smart and cunning,
At least I don’t decline,
Even when I’m not running.
I may not be Prince Charming,
At least I don’t bet,
Least I’m not disarming
When fate has been set.

Pain Has Been Here

I've never had a dream come true,
I've lost track of time,
Till the day I find peace,
I’ll never be able to cope,
Without you.
Pain Has Been Here.

I try to be happy for you,
But I just cry.
I am grieving,
For the life,
That was just lost.
Pain Has Been Here.

I am adrift,
On an ocean of pain,
My heart is the boat,
But it’s leaking so badly.
Why did you have to leave?
Pain Has Been Here.

I never told you,
How I feel,
Now you’re gone.
I miss everything about you.
Like there’s no sunrise,
Just eternal night.
Pain Has Been Here.

Can’t believe that your gone,
Now I have nothing left,
Here I am,
Alone in the meadow of sorrow.
The pasture has been charred,
By the fire of despair.
Once a place of joy,
Now ruined for life.
Pain Has Been Here.

I try to wake up,
But I realize,
It’s not a dream.
Losing someone is terrible,
Especially if it’s family.
Nothing in the world,
Can replace them,
No one thing,
Can ever fill the hole,
In my heart.
Pain Has Been Here.

I don’t have to try,
To be alone,
I am alone.
Looking in the mirror,
I see a girl,
Her eyes are dead, Lifeless,
Completely devoid of life.
Her skin is a dull gray,
With no color at all.
Pain Has Been Here.

Every night I dream,
You’re still here,
When I wake,
You’ll disappear.
Pain Has Been Here.

My heart is breaking,
With the pain I feel,
I fight to find my way in life,
Everyday’s the same,
I hurt, I cry, I break,
But nothing will bring you back into my life.
Pain Has Been Here.

I’m a little girl again,
Dreaming of what could be.
My home is not a place to hide,
Only a place of hurt.
Pain Has Been Here.

Seasons change,
As I grow older,
I look back,
Into the misty memories,
I see your face,
And I wonder,
Where did I go wrong?
Pain Has Been Here.

How could my family act,
Like everything is okay.
What did I do to deserve this,
This is the dark,
Before the dawn,
The storm before the sunrise.
Pain Has Been Here.

Maybe crying is a way,
To clean the slate,
I try to hide my pain,
Behind a mask,
I try to hide the scars,
Of the memories,
Even though the scars don’t show,
They are there for all to see,
If they look close enough.
Pain Has Been Here.

The Sea

The Sea:

The sea, she is my wooman,
She laughs and waves,
The sea, she be beautiful but deadly,
To sailors like I.

De sea,
She calls to me,
Begs me to sail again,
Across her body of water.

She sings to me,
Day after night,
Night after day,
She be trying to lure me away.

That day will come,
When her voice reaches me heart,
I will go after her,
To sail de sea once more.

Life Cannot Be Just a Dream

Dreams come into our minds and hearts,
Weaving its own special pattern,
Through life.
Like a handmade quilt,
Made with extra care,
As if to preserve the love,
Within each stitch.
Life Cannot Be Just A Dream.

Dreams make us, who we are as a person,
Dreams make the music we hear every day,
And dreams make up the world,
That we live in,
Life Cannot Be Just A Dream.

The dreams we have about life,
That dreams inspire us,
Are important to everybody,
And it is important to keep having these dreams,
 So that we may become,
Who we want to be later in the life that we have,
Life Cannot Be Just A Dream.

The things we imagine are special,
These dreams help us to realize,
What we should do,
To help the world,
Be a better place,
These dreams keep people together,
Life Cannot Be Just A Dream.

You'Re Beautiful

You’re caring and sensitive.
You care about others,
I see a world filled with happiness,
That starts with you.
You are the one who I see,
Who can charm the birds out of their nests.
 I cry when you’re sad,
But remember this…
You are beautiful!

I know what it’s to be misunderstood,
I say don’t lose your faith.
You should try to be yourself,
Remember You are Beautiful!

I cannot pretend to know how you feel,
But know that I’m here for you,
Reach for my heart,
Cause its held out to you,
 My shoulders are small,
But you can cry on them too.
Everything changes,
But know this,
I’m here for you.
Remember You’re Beautiful!

The Vows Are Broken

The Vows Are Broken:

You promised me once,
That you would never,
Hurt me.
And that you,
Would never blame me.
But where are you now?
My heart is broken,
And so is the promise,
The one you said,
You would never break.

Vows that cannot be replaced,
Promises of love and friendship,
And hope in a new beginning,
Are ruined,
And broken without a second glance.
Some promises are kept,
Others are remains of its original form,
Never to prosper again.
