Jesus De Castro Poem
You French exit at the back door
When you laugh rolling on the floor
For me you have a lot in store
Can’t tell now but I know there’s more
I just find your choice perplexing
Wondering if you’re wondering
What it’s like loving and learning
I’m just here, silently waiting
Your busy-being-single phase
Like the cool drizzle on my face
Soon enough will vanish in space
Your way back to love, you’ll soon trace
Open your eyes and look at me
I know I can make you happy
I have never been this cheesy
You can give in, you can choose me

Jesus De Castro Poem
Misfortune always comes in threes
Embrace me, much to my displease
This wrath I intend to release
Go and get as much as you please
You killed me once, twice, even thrice
'Conjured fire to collide with ice
Tormenting me has been your vice
And now you have to pay the price
There's no word from you that was true
Savor my wrath, I once warned you
Potion of revenge now I brew
Sign here, this is long-overdue

Jesus De Castro Poem
Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right
B, A, select, start this big fight
Let's go, we'll make it through the night
After this, we'll both see the light
I beg of you not to give up
Don't fret, let me be your one up
Fight, fight, fight, we're not gonna stop
Fire away, we'll both reach the top
Go run and hide, fire in the hole
More bonus points, jump on the pole
Soldiers, warriors, we play the role
And now we take back what you stole

Jesus De Castro Poem
I tried to be nice and polite
Last thing I'd do, pick up a fight
Just for today, be out of sight
Not a thing just seems to be right
I can take your dumb, stupid ways
But please stop stepping on my base
Stop making me part of your case
You run yours, I'd run my own race
You always see my brown as beige
Sick of being stuck on your own page
Enough about yours, mind my rage
I've had enough of your baggage

Jesus De Castro Poem
everything's always been the same
your pretty face, your puny brain
all along, 'was waiting in vain
now tell me, dear, your claim to fame
you say we both need breathing space
and you say that right in my face
you say all things will be in place
i'm glad that you can paraphrase
you ask me what i was thinking
been through this kind of questioning
and somehow i've seen this coming
then suddenly, there was nothing
tic toc, tic toc, it's half past eight
i'm not the biggest fan of fate
speak now because i'm running late
this love shit, a wonderful bait

Jesus De Castro Poem
Soft couch, cold night, amazing light
Cappuccino I sipped last night
Compares to something I can’t fight
And there’s this star shining so bright
Is it the star I’ve asked for?
Is it the sign I’m waiting for?
Is it worth risking my heart for?
Is it time to open my door?
Fence of love, I’ve been on both sides
Tried the swing, the see-saw, the slide
Loved the low, high, and midway tides
I laughed, I cried, I lived, I died
Suddenly it’s all clear to me
Now as I write this poetry
No need for a lucky penny
No need for this anxiety
We vow, for worse or for better
Words can be sweet or bitter
It might end sooner or later
I’ll have you, that’s all that matters

Jesus De Castro Poem
I dare you to kick the habit
This one I have you can't have it
Mirror, tell me who is not fit
It's time you throw away that kit
Just not your song, "Bring Me To Life"
Forget the urge, ignore the drive
That thing you do cuts like a knife
The remaining days of our lives
Please don't let Tina lead the way
Not her, not Molly, that I pray
You did, you didn't, that's what you say
Think of the price you need to pay
This cold ice brings nothing but pain
Call spade a spade, simple and plain
Do I really have to explain?
No rehab, no pain, means no gain

Jesus De Castro Poem
in a series of stops and starts
on bouncing back and broken hearts
vicious cycle of love and hate
all you want can blame your fate
each time i close my eyes, i see
someone struggling, fighting, it's me

Jesus De Castro Poem
I hear you beg, I hear you sing
"I'll stop the world and melt with you."
It sounds to me more of whining
"Please stay, I can't live without you."
Yeah I heard you, I heard you scream
Uttered good things and bad things too
And your love was just like a dream
And a beautiful nightmare too
We start and stop and start again
And a few times we called it quits
Keep on counting from one to ten
And you say love is what love spits
Vicious cycle of love and hate
I refuse to be part of it
But you insist that it's our fate
Your sweet words really taste like shit

Jesus De Castro Poem
Take the big chunk of the credit
If not for you, things won't fit
Gravity pulls you to the ground
You're here but I don't hear a sound
Cleaning out the dirt and the grime
Get up and go, leave the primetime
Leave the unnecessary stuff
Sing your song "Enough is Enough"
From all these, now I know better
Where's your resignation letter
Don't rely solely on sheer luck
Go, leave now, refuse to get stuck
