The Path of Life

The Path Of Life

From times beginning line,
And through eons so fine,
There has always been a solid set way,
Through which no decision could sway,
And though that way is often fearful,
It is truly wonderful,
For it is the path of life,
And it is a way so full of strife,
That no one can hold in mind
That no one can see in kind,
And from the highest peak,
Where life holds on with grasp so meek,
To the deepest sea alive,
Where life does easily thrive,
Birth is the same as is death and sorrow,
Yet equally is love and joy on the morrow,
For each has its place,
And each has its steady pace,
For all is the same blank case,
But all hold a serenely varied face.

Even the Smallest Ants Cast Long Shadows

Even The Smallest Ants Cast Long Shadows

In a world so vast that the sky does grasp,
With not even the slightest sounded rasp,
There are those that some see as beauty so mighty,
And there are things that others see as the true Aphrodite,
Yet those with eyes not shallow set,
Do come with a vision gladly met,
And with it a knowing so loving and calm,
That gives them no air of qualm,
They see around them a world so broad,
That others do hide and make a fraud,
From the monuments of Egyptian sands,
To the ashen bridges of modern lands,
And to the Redwood of the West,
Or the shrubs that grew their best,
There is a common theme,
That is shown in all worlds’ real or dream,
Even the smallest ants cast long shadows,
And around them light always glows,
For no matter the size or shape of the thing,
A single trait does always cling,
For each and every thing around,
Does have a tale to tell abound.

Minded Love

There once was a heart left there yet now it's lost in darkness bare,
              Shattered,
Yet holding out in these confines holds strong a celtic moor of unfastened wear,
               Steadfast,
And as that darkened whirlwinds pull keeps pounding at the last held door, a harkened one of ageless strength keeps holding out with bardic care,
               Wizened,
For as the young of truest might, a king cannot take fright for peace eternal is well fought for and never given for less than tear,
               Honored,
Even still a piece must roam in deepest tome around the corners of war,
               Flighted,
Still a one must hold the key to find this place forever sealed and free the mind of endless strife,
               Purity
As all roads do lead from one, unto an endless passing run.
               Love

To Fear Is To Love and To Love Is To Grow

To Fear Is To Love and To Love Is To Grow

In the dark, we see many things,
Awaiting what torment it all brings,
Knowing it comes from within,
Wearing our nerves ever so thin,
However we miss what is ours to know,
To fear is to love and to love is to grow,
Preparing us all for futures in tow,
And providing us everlasting foe,
Ask yourself what all answers will bring,
In this great dark, will I see anything?
