The Path of Life
The Path Of Life
From times beginning line,
And through eons so fine,
There has always been a solid set way,
Through which no decision could sway,
And though that way is often fearful,
It is truly wonderful,
For it is the path of life,
And it is a way so full of strife,
That no one can hold in mind
That no one can see in kind,
And from the highest peak,
Where life holds on with grasp so meek,
To the deepest sea alive,
Where life does easily thrive,
Birth is the same as is death and sorrow,
Yet equally is love and joy on the morrow,
For each has its place,
And each has its steady pace,
For all is the same blank case,
But all hold a serenely varied face.
