Marisa Faller Poem
to love and to cherish
You
to entangle myself
in your phonetic mindset
is to relinquish the ever lopsided
concealment
which now subsides
within my soul

Marisa Faller Poem
Dart anywhere:
"lonely, mournful; please return",
picked from limb by limb--
hold them to your aching chest;
they are all alone with you

Marisa Faller Poem
I gather all my wits
And throw them off a mountain
So that they are are scattered
in some kind of pattern
to make up this world
I call my own

Marisa Faller Poem
in my world
i have
a key
to unlock the depths
of which i may not
yet be accustomed
to unlock the sorrow
of which i may not wish
to renounce
will they ask me to
gather all
their bloody remorse
and ignominious alibis
so that i may
or may not
replace this
space
with something more
righteous and stable
or will i just
leave it there
to desperately
ask them
rhetorical questions
and wait for
blatant and heartfelt
honesty

Marisa Faller Poem
my life in a nutshell;
I spend each day following myself
And others around
(Yet I keep that coverted at times)
Waiting for a command
or a criticism
that I may have once [l]earned
from my peers
We ask each other
For honest opinions
And then retaliate as if
Having expected to repress anything less
Than aplomb feelings laid out
In our minds
No matter the outcome
I still wonder why I bothered
to listen to the degrading words
At all
My life in a nutshell;
I am intolerant
to these stringent misconceptions
i cannot help to perceive
Of myself
And those who
Guide me
And create short-lived diversions
But today is but an ordinary day
which will repeat tomorrow
Where I will be
Mourning those sophomoric yet moving days
When I did not question
The ingratiating existences
I follow around
My life
Is but a nutshell.

Marisa Faller Poem
in the shadows
i shall creep,
amongst the droplets
of evening rain,
napping on the crumpled leaves;
and horizon,
watching my tip-toes,
guiding me towards
warmth and stability,
praising me against
all resonance
