Together We Can Make a Difference

If we all just did it if we all just chose , if we all rose to the occasion if we all just know.
If we all came together if we all felt the pain, if we all knew it was happening we could all stop this from happening again.
You know what I speak of, you know what I mean, the reason we are fighting, this world is so unclean.
All this hate that we generate, this life that we made, is full of nothing but mistakes.
But we know no better, at least that's what we tell ourselves each sitting alone, foolishness filling them shelves.
The unhappiness, the racism, the bullying, the rage, that fact that we can't get along.
We are all put on this earth for one purpose and that's to belong.
But still we choose the wars, the wealth, the lying, and the path that is full of misconceptions and full of unnecessary reaction
It's time to stop all the bullshit in the world with governments taking peoples things, it's time to stand up and take action.
But most won't why because we are all afraid, even though we sit at home dying while filling up full of rage.
Our minds are all so trained to accept life for the way it is, that we don't realize what's being taken away from us at a moments notice.
So I say to you look deep down inside, take one last look at your life and let's go for a ride.
Together united is the only way that this will pass, together as one we need to be kick the governments ass.
See there is one thing that they do not know, that we as a people are strong but its something we don't show.
For if we did the powers to be, would have no power at all they would be just like you, just like me.

A Time To Remember

A TIME TO REMEMBER THOSE WHO FOUGHT HARD SO THAT WE COULD LIVE
A TIME TO REMEMBER THESE SOLDIERS THERE LIVES THEY DID GIVE
A TIME TO REMEMBER THE BRAVE, THE STRONG, THE FEW
A TIME TO REMEMBER WHO FOUGHT FOR ME, FOR YOU
A TIME TO REMEMBER THE ONES WHO ARE STILL AROUND
A TIME TO REMEMBER THE STORIES THAT THEY STILL DO TELL
A TIME TO REMEMBER WHAT THEY FOUGHT SO VERY HARD FOR
A TIME TO REMEMBER THE ONES WHOM WE ADORE
A TIME TO REMEMBER THE REASON WHY THEY FOUGHT
A TIME TO REMEMBER THE PRICE THEY PAID, THE COST
A TIME TO REMEMBER A TIME, A MOMENT FOR PEACE
A TIME TO REMEMBER A TIME FOR THE WORLD TO SEE
A TIME TO REMEMBER A TIME TO SEE WE ARE ALL THE SAME
A TIME TO REMEMBER A TIME TO SEE WE ARE ALL JUST A DIFFERENT SHADE
A TIME TO REMEMBER A TIME TO END THIS WAR
A TIME TO REMEMBER WHY WERE ON THIS EARTH FOR
A TIME TO REMEMBER WE ARE NOT HERE FOR LONG
A TIME TO REMEMBER SO LET'S ALL JUST GET ALONG
A TIME TO REMEMBER PLEASE CELEBRATE WHAT THE SOLDIERS DID FOR US THIS REMEMBRANCE DAY
A TIME TO REMEMBER PEACE IS WHAT NEEDS TO STAY

As I Awake

As I awake I am still here I still feel the same pain
I still have the same nightmare I still feel the same rage
I can not change the way it feels I can not tell you why
Each and everyday I just want to sit alone and cry
For no one knows how I truly feel no ones inside
Everyday of every life this is something I truly hide
The emotions that you see from me there not the true ones at all
For if I showed you the true ones from me your life it would fall
Into pieces it would go from all the hurt the pain
No more sunshine no more rainbows just clouds and rain
See my life used to be all fun and games
Till I lost what meant the most
Now its not the same
They say it gets better with time that time heals all wounds
If that was true I would not be hear rhyming you these blues
Every morning of everyday this is how I feel
The world today is still so full of hate it is still so unreal
That's where all this pain is from its easy enough to see
If everyone would just get along the pain would subside from me
Is it to much to ask, for people to respect and treat each other the same
Because sooner than later it will be more than just me that will experience this great pain.

Pay It Forward

As the sunshines, and the clouds move toward.

All i ask for is someone to pay it forward.

Its really not all that hard to do ya know.

You just have to look inside, its just love you have to show.

But most of you wont, why do you say.

Your all caught up in your own world, you only care for you today.

Its a shame everyone is to busy to take a moments time.

To show youre true feelings, to show youre truly kind.

See im fighting a battle you all think i will lose.

But in the end i will win, because of something I choose.

I choose my strength to think of others, before i think of myself.

To give my last dollar away, instead of hoarding for that stuff on that shelf.

Most never see my true side, they dont deserve to see.

For if they really saw it, they still wouldnt believe me.

So i say this with pride, with honor and with truth.

Changing the world today, doesnt just start with me, but it also starts with you.

#payitforward people, make people matter again. Everyone deserves to be happy not only a select few.

Remember

In flanders fields the poppies do grow
For those brave soldiers that did die
The ones to whom I speak of
Are the ones that fought with pride
The ones who fought a war that was really worth fighting for
The ones who stood up for our rights a freedoms
It's those soldiers whom I adore
They fought with a reason, they fought with a purpose
The days, The night it didn't matter but still they did not hurt us
What I mean is that everything that they fought for truly had a meaning
They were fighting a war for life, not for wealth or stealing

Please remember what these soldiers fought so hard for,
Please remember why.
Don't commit anymore of these acts of hate
No more people need to die
Everyone has there time to go in life let them choose there way
The wars need to end here, the peace is what needs to stay
At least one day out of the year please let's just remember
The Brave, The Strong, The Few
If it wasn't for them fighting for where you are now
There might not be a Me a You.
So with pride I say thank you from the bottom of my heart
To all the soldiers that fought for the right reasons
To give us all a fresh new start.

Real Friends

The truth behind it is there are real and there are fake
The real ones always stay its the fake ones that just take

They take all they can from you, your soul your heart your mind.
They leave you feeling empty, feeling lost, feeling blind.

Its hard to tell the difference before it is far, far to late
Until they break every vein in your heart until every vein is strained.

You dont notice you think its normal, because you trust them, they are so close to you.
By your side they tell u it will be ok, they are there when your feeling your most untrue.

But its when youre at your weakest most vulnerable state
That the disappear at that moment that they make the mistake

They turn there back on you and there true colors come out
Now you see what this so called friendship was really all about

From the beginning it truly was all a lie a fable that was being told
Man it is on old fairy tale lie that is getting real old

So becareful who you trust in this world becareful who you say things to
You might say the wrong words to someone whos gonna turn there back on you.

Just Try and Be Positive They Say

Just try and be positive they say.

So here it goes and i try so hard to see the light,
To be positive in what they call a so called life

For fear of death should be a thing to all.
For me its not, im ready to fall.

A change in season, a change in time.
A thoughful gift, a meaningful ryhme.

To be positive is not as easy as one can pursue.
For to some a lot more happens to me than to you.

I wish life would be easy, but it isnt that way.
True strength is deminshing, negativity on its way.

You tell me to be positive, you think its easy to switch
To change my mind and attitude at a moments notice.

You obviously dont have clue, whats really going on here
If you did your actions would reflect and you wouldnt say words so hurtful and unclear.

To everyone who struggles and those struggles are real
They will truly understand my frustration
Truly understand what i feel.

I write my emotions, like i wear my heart on my sleeve for everyone to see.
So you can see real honesty in a person and still believe in humanity.

Dont forget that there are people out there who are losing there will to live.
Next time try talking to them and asking them how to help instead of saying be positive.

The Gentle Wind Blows

The wind blowing softly, the gentle breeze you feel above.

The sky above so blue with envy, the showers of mystical love.

A vast amount of clouds role in and cover this beauty you did see.

The soft wind that was blowing, is now a gust, a gale wind turned into a fury.

The storm is now a brewing, it's turning into a hurricane quite very quickly hurry it is turning fast.

See when something you thought would last forever, it turned out it would never last.

Instead now it has changed so quickly it to something so different and something you never thought it would ever be.

And that something is something completely different in its entirety.

Push Away Don'T Hold

I dont like people close, though i hold them tight.

I dont want anyone in my life, though i put up a fight.

I dont want a relationship, no one around me all the time.

I dont need a woman, not now not by my side.

As I say these words, as you look towards me.

As u read this poem, the words you truly see.

The real side about me, that I really left unknown.

Is now not a secret. This is something now shown.

I start to like someone, i bring them real close to me.

Tell them everything they need to hear, a form of familiarity.

To catch there attention, these words I speak they are all so true

But then I gotta push away, cuz i get scared this cant continue.

For if it does i might be happy, thats not possible not this life not for me.

I cant hold onto, so i get real clingy.

I become the person i am not, so they become upset.

It only takes a week or so, then i get past regret.

I move onto the next one. To get my mind at ease.

Im sorry you have to find out this way, dont forgive me please.

I dont deserve forgivess, i dont want your trust back.

Ill always live my life this way, i am the sheep who's black.

I do not write this for sympathy, but just to speak these words to you

This will always be my life, it will always be untrue.

Abused

A silent scream inside you hear, but no one is around. A voice that is calling you, but no one can be found. A future that looks bright inside, one that you now can see. One that used to be so grim to you, has finally been set free. The escape was hard, it felt impossible, it almost could not be done. However when you have that help, any battle it can be won. Things get hard when you try, so you might have to step that extra step or two. For when the battle is so hard, thats when then the victory is so true. The hardships will pass, the pain will subside, the hurt will eventually step aside. The happiness will then fill the void, a smile will come in full stride.
Your heart will be complete again, you no longer will be incomplete.
For the battle you did win, your heart can not be beat. Sincerely Josh Vanham , Tuesday Mar.14/17 5:43pm
