I visit you at night in my dreams
from the way we were to the way we are now
never wanting to let any of it go
but it is what it is
My thoughts continue to have you there
knowing how it was will never be
doesn't stop the wanting of you
but it is what it is
I deal with the treatment that you give
saying little along the way
leaving you to your own ideas
but it is what it is
You have no concerns as to how I feel
yet benefit from those feelings
still I continue to be who I am
but it is what it is
I know you see me, what I hold
but I am not as important to you
inspite of the purpose that I serve
but it is what it is
You call upon me and I answer
no matter what the reason or time
you close you eyes to my life
as I now close my eyes to yours.

This is no dream,this is no fantasy
Come here my beautiful one and stand by me
I'll always love you and do my best
then let God take over,he'll do the rest
So beautiful as I watch you
stroll gracefully down the Isle
The thought of us together
oh I can't help but smile
Anxiously waiting the moment
when you become my wife
to cherish you for always
for the rest of my life.

For I've known since the beginning of our time
that you were the one that he had in mind
Today I am so happy
for what god has given to me
to have and to hold to honor and obey

NEVER ALONE

Do not shed your tears for me
Because God has called me home
But keep in mind the memories
And the fact you’re not alone
Keep your tears for joyful things
The thought of all that we have done
And know that I no longer suffer
That I am with the one
The one who keeps you thru the day
And watches over you thru the night
The one who helped me make it through
And fought my biggest fight
My spirit lives within all of you
That God saw fit to call me home
I’ve done all that I could do
Know that although I am gone
But do not shed your tears for me
Because with God I am now home
But keep in mind all the memories
And you will never be alone.

It is the spirit of you that I enjoy
the pleasantness of that I look forward to seeing
I don't know the story of you
I do know the truth about mines
Talk to me,see how far we can go
A minute can mean , something if the choice is yours
Tomorrow's not ours to claim, this moment is all we have
There's an opportunity ,missing out on what life offers
.
Advantage is for everyone
Take a moment, reflect and think
the conclusion is yours in the end.

I can promise you everything
the likes you never known

you'll see how love has grown
I can promise you in all this

that I can afford

I wrote this poem in my sleep
In the darkness of my bed
It could not wait until daylight came
for the thoughts were pounding in my head
I did not want to forget a word so I grabbed my pen and started to write
To let you know that of all you did
I ended up being alright.
I write of all the hurt and pain
The many night i wanted to die.
But made it through some how
I wrote this poem while in the dark
To remind me of what i had gone though
When hope was lost the sun didn't shine
Because of the love i'll lost with you
I did not want to forget the feeling
The way i felt on that special day
I did not want to forget the hurt
I felt you left when you went away
I wrote in the darkness cause i was glad
Cause finally there was light and i could see
That love is not as selfish and hurtful as you
And i made it through some how

Hey what happened,
I started this journey from no where or perhaps the stars.
There you were
We shared so much for strangers,
didn't realize that two people could have so much in common,
always felt misunderstood
until I met you.
We talked on the phone for hours
just like the kids we've raised,simply because,no special reason
other than well,it's natural.
I enjoy you and the time we spend
I don't know you yet I feel I do.
I look forward eagerly to see what tomorrow will bring.
Now I ask myself how this can be,
or is this perhaps what I deserve.
Not quite sure how I should feel,I mean is it to soon.
I think about you as though you were mine.
My head calls you baby but my voice out of respect,will not.
The fear of offending you stands high,will that be alright or should I wait.
I know that I enjoy you and time will tell which way to go.
I will be the man I am and and hope for you that would be enough.
I'll let god and nature take it's course and just be thankful for you.

For all the tears that fell like rain

For the pain you gave like sharpened darts

For the depression, the hurt and the reckless ways
for the high price of loving you I paid

For all the days I wanted to die
For the life we had that was a lie
For all the times I wondered why

For all the problems, I took the blame
For all the solutions which I took aim

How many can look through the eyes of another
and actually see what they see.
How many can stand in another's shoes
and truly feel or know what's there.
How many can truly say I understand,
knowing that each situation although similar,is not the same.
How many actually know
that what you now read is true.
How many can truly say,
they walked a mile in the place of another
How many can say that the steps they took
were exactly the same.
How many people are actually wrong by not knowing,
all shoes don't fit the same.
How many people can actually look within themselves
be able to say that what you now read may perhaps be incorrect
how many people know that at least this is something to give thought to.

It is the pleasure of being next to you
The idea that you are somehow still a part of my life
It is the fact that although everything that we've been thru
hasn't done as much damage as I thought it had.
You are still the part of my world that I imagined
Still the part of my world that is and will always be important to me
Inspite of all that was, I am grateful for what is
For it is my pleasure
You are the future I never thought I'd have
You represent the past that I'd lost so long ago
I have found the peace in the acceptance of what is
and been blessed by the peace that has remained
I gave up on the idea of what was once us
I thought that I'd lost any and all that may have been
But in our friendship I have found that love still remains
And for me that is special simply because of one thing,
It's my pleasure .
