Little Love

I am writing you this letter little love,
My precious gift from the almighty above,
I remember how months did not seem to move,
As I waited for your birth with immeasurable love,
Finally early morning 2nd of June my blessed little dove,
Announced her arrival with a soft little cry!

My eyes were filled with joyful tears,
Everyone was all happy and smile,
The room was alive with laughter and cheers,
All eager to receive you in pomp and style,
And you reciprocated with a soft little cry!

As I watched you lying down peacefully,
Folding your little tiny hands firmly,
My eyes roamed around your angelic face,
My hands were itching to touch your face,
Could not resist the desire to give you a kiss,
Behold what a momentous ecstatic bliss!
And out came your trade mark soft little cry!

I know ahead lies a daunting task,
To provide for you from dawn to dusk,
To bring you up in a proper good way,
And making sure nothing takes your joy away,
As you grow up, every single step of the way.
Will treasure your memorable soft little cry!

Colours of Life

Colors of life

Sometimes you may think you know but life has a way of reminding you that you know nothing,

You may think you are strong only for your strength to fail you half way the journey,

Or worse still even before you make your first step.

You may think that you have the entire universe at the palm of your hands,

Or on top of the world with every one fighting for your attention,

But behold! In a split second it dawns on you that it was all vanity,

Your physician gives you a clean bill of health but hours later you’re swept by a mere common cold,

You think you are the wisest person of your time only to be brought down by a village idiot,

You think you have the courage to face tomorrow and all it brings your way,

But the realization that even today just ended by the sheer grace is heart rending;

Your heart is already too weak to take it anymore….

You are caught up between a hard place and a rock, very tough choices to make,

Unfortunately it’s your heart that is trapped in between and you are trading your own happiness,

You chose to let it flow oblivious of the turbulence and storm that threatens to cup size your boat,

And now the sea is stormy, rough and wild, threatening your very own existence,

You’re once haven of peace, tranquility and serenity is rocked with uncertainty,

And now a million dollar question; do you still let it flow or you give it up and just let it go?

The happiest of people don’t necessarily have the best of everything,

They just make the most of everything taking each day as it comes with a brave smile,

Opening their eyes and ears to only those things which bring them joy…

Living each day the best way they could as though there is no tomorrow…

In only three words I can sum up all have learned about life-it goes on.

Love Journey

Journey of love.
Why when faced with a challenge you always opt to walk out,
Even before you give yourself a chance to work things out,
Why are you so afraid of how things might turn out?
And are not afraid of giving your happiness a blackout?

Love is a sacrifice without which it’s null,
It’s a journey of two people walking hand in hand,
Nagging, whining and throwing tantrums make the going dull,
Understanding, mutual respect and love on the other hand

Is what will save the journey from being stressful,
And make every other obstacle easy to stand,
As things gets tougher along the way seek to be helpful,
Not standing on the fence or burying your head under the sand.

In the end you will look back with a joyous smile,
Happy that you stuck together firmly all the way,
The fact that you never turned your back on him all that while,
And that he stood by you all through will see you strong each day.

Crimininal Love

Criminal Love

There are times in life when right is not good and good far away from right,
When the right thing makes your heart grief and good gives you relief,
Doing the right thing makes one panic, scared and confused,
Whereas the good thing is right there promising you bliss peace and joy,
The right thing cast doubts, breeds discord and shutters all hopes,
And here I am left wondering which coarse do I take?

When love flows freely and sweetly from ones heart,
Filling the heart with so much joy, hope and fulfillment,
Filling ones life with confidence, synergy and courage,
When love creates an environment where everything seems perfect,
When love drives one to be a better person; caring, considerate, industrious, affectionate…
When love propels one to greater heights, to do great things…
What becomes of that love when it is not right?

Now that peaceful haven is invaded and its place reigns confusion,
The once blossoming love forcefully covered and unable to breathe,
The once so proud love suffocated, humiliated and suppressed,
Its radiance dimmed and the brilliant sparkle taken away,
The once so optimistic love is in the state of desolation and despair,
Simply because it did not pass the’ right’ test..

If only I had the answers to this right and wrong contest,
And their relative in the name of guilt who also joined the conquest
Wish I had the consolation to offer my devastated heart,
And the strength to take it all in my stride.

Not Over You

Not Over You!
I am so wallowing in loneliness,
My heart is very frail with sickness,
I have no one to give me a shoulder,
And no arms to keep me warmer
No one to hold me tightly closer,
I miss my friend, my love ad my sweetheart.

Memories of romantic calls at midnight,
Your sweet love texts late at night
The naughty jokes and you treating me right,
And making out after our occasional fight,
I miss my friend, my love and my sweetheart.

Why did we ever meet if we were to part?
Thought was your only king but now am your doormat
Why did you say you are in love?
When you knew you would leave?
I miss my friend my love and my sweetheart.

When you treasure something you don’t let go easily,
No, you give it some time before letting it go slowly,
But if it was meant for you it will surely come back quickly,
What a dream! But it is all left to cling on to feebly,
I miss my friend my love and my sweetheart.
