The Hidden Sadness Behind Her Eyes

From a distance she looks at peace, having fun doing her thing. But objects don't
always appear the same from afar, if you take a deep look into someone's eyes it
tells the story.

Her eyes once filled with hopes and dreams for the future full of happiness and
joy. Her eyes now sit only filled with the tears and sorrows of her life fading, like
the now dim twinkle that once shone so bright in her eyes.

If you look deep into her eyes, you notice the pain and torture she tries so hard to
cover up. If you ever have the chance to see pass that shield that tries to cover up
the pain in her eyes, you will see that her eyes are now empty.

Her eyes seem lifeless but in her mind she is being held a prisoner. Not
knowing if things will get better. For every time she thinks she is at her lowest
she finds out it is bottomless, like her cold, dark, empty, lifeless eyes.

She often wondered if it was really worth sticking it out, for if it wasn't to get better
what was the point.

She stands in front of the mirror. Tears running from her eyes down her cheek to
end at her heart. Her heart which is cold and frosted over.

She misses the happiness and joy she once felt, now she is numb and her heart
beats no more. She looks deep into her own cold eyes with anger, knowing it is
all her own fault why her sorry excuse of a life is this way.

She is tired of it all, she just wants it all to stop. She feels like her brain is about
to explode. She just wants silence and to be free of this pain and torture.

She takes one last look into that mirror, deep into those empty eyes. She closes
her eyes, her last tear rolls down her cheek. Her body trembles with anger.

She opens her eyes to notice them filled with anger and hate. She hated that
person in the mirror more than anyone could imagine. Her fist clenched with
furry, she smashed the mirror.

She looked at herself in the mirror on the floor. She was broken in a million
pieces and knew she could never be put back together. She picked up the piece
of glass that her eyes were upon. She then fell to the floor and lied in the
shattered glass that was her life.

Her eyes are open. The pain and suffering is gone. She is released from the
torturing hell that was her life. She is free now and the twinkle now forever back in
her eyes.

Questions With All the Same Answers

Why do people choose sides,
Determined by the colour of their skin?
Why if 2 people of the same sex are together,
Makes it wrong and a sin.

Why does that man beat his wife,
Even when she's already black and blue.
Why has that childs innocence been stolen,
From being molested since he was two.

Why is the world at war,
Violence is not always the answer.
Why can we solve male erection problems,
But still not even close for a cure for cancer.

Why do children of such a young age,
Develop eating disorders because of vanity.
Why is there only one answer of it's our fault,
For this world is in lack of decent humanity.

"insert Name Here"

I know I’ve done wrong nobody’s perfect,
For those sins forever I will repent.
When I put the effort into someone,
I own all the emotions before the moneys spent.
I tried to be your friend,
I looked away from your past.
Thought you had changed I was so wrong,
Should have known this friendship wouldn’t last.
I did everything in my power to help you,
Put forth my support and emotions time after time.
Now you’ve turned this friendship cold,
The lies you spread about me roll off your tongue like a rhyme.
I hold no feelings towards you now,
To be frank you aren’t worth the fuss.
It’s just too bad people fall for your stories,
For it’s just venomous lies spewing from your mouth like puss.
Not to worry it will all catch up to you,
Hopefully people you offer your friendship to will pass.
I can’t wait to see what karma has in store for you,
I can’t wait to see it bite you in the ass.

You Won the War

I didn’t think my heart would ever be strong,
Strong enough to ever love again.
It had been trampled on, beaten down,
Told I would love, but I was always questioning when?

Then I was blessed with you,
I have promised to you I wont lie.
So to tell u the truth when I first found out,
I didn’t know what to do but to cry.

I couldn’t help myself but to cry,
I thought my life was already over, we were never going to meet.
Till I knew you were coming to me then I knew,
Knew that my life wasn’t over, it was incomplete.

But you changed that for me,
You created a whole new look of life made me whole.
You made me want to live forever,
You own me, my heart, my body, my mind, my soul.

There are still some times I still cry,
Feelings of sorrow wash in like the tide.
But those tears of pain are only from thoughts,
Thoughts that someday you wont be by my side.

Other tears are because of you,
The tears of happiness, just how I feel.
From the heavens up above,
From God my angel I did steal.

Ultimately you have won the battle,
Not to worry you also won the war.
Because of having you in my life,
On cloud 9 I shall always soar.

No matter what kind of day I've had,
No matter any words someone shall say.
You make all my troubles fade with a smile,
You are my best friend and I love you Jori May.

Dying Alone

I recently stated I don’t want to find love,
Some offer tips others sympathy.
But I have good reason for my choice,
And what I need is understanding and empathy.

I don’t want to bring someone into a life of despair,
Knowing I cant hold on forever.
I cant bare to cause anymore pain,
For if I cant love myself how can I love another.

I have always wanted to become a mother,
Now I know I never can be one day.
For how fair is it to bring them into a life,
A life of watching their mother decay.

I could not put that on someone else,
There are already too many people I have hurt.
I could not bring them into this cruel world,
For its in the shadows where the evil lurks.

So I have made up my mind,
I will die alone.
Nobody around,
To hear me gasp and moan.

Erase the Memory

Make me forget the way it feels to hold you,
Make me forget your sweet smile.
Make me forget the way your laugh was contagious,
Make me forget your cheeky style.

Make me forget the way you first kissed me,
Make me forget your alluring smell.
Make me forget the way you got down on one knee,
Make me forget your love binding spell.

Make me forget our late night walks,
Make me forget when you told me to just run.
Make me forget how you pushed me out of the way,
Make me forget the man with the gun.

Make me forget they way you gasped and moaned,
Make me forget your last breath.
Make me forget the way the blood poured out,
Make me forget your violent death.

Make me forget feeling your soul leave,
Make me forget the guns ear piercing sound.
Make me forget the memories we shared,
Make me forget cause I can't go on with out you around.

Didn'T Mean To Make You Cry...... That Hard

So it looks like you messed up again,
Thought I would sit around and wait.
Have you already forgotten what I said,
You don’t decide for me, I make my own fate.

You didn't think I would go through with it,
Ok I'll admit it hasn’t been easy.
Did you think I would never move on,
I'm done with games they are just sleazy.

Why when I tell you I have moved on,
You call repeatedly crying saying your feeling blue.
Sorry you had four years to figure it out,
Now you wont be having this cake and eating it too.

After everything we have been through,
How is this what brings you to tears.
I'm not sorry for moving on with my life,
And you'll never cry as much as I have over the years.

Sure that connection we have will never fade,
We know exactly what each other wants and needs.
But I will find that and grow with another,
I have already began to plant those seeds.

After everything you have did to us,
I still do wish you happiness and joy.
But you should have thought this through before,
If you don’t love her then with her heart you shouldn't toy.

I can't help but to sometimes think of you,
We had a lot of great days and nights, simple memories to fade.
That passion we may never find with another,
But I cant always be blamed as the reason why she is so jade.

I don’t know if we will ever pick up where we left off,
Guess it just depends where our lives take us to.
All I know is I cant wait around for you to decide what you want,
Just remember you chose your own path as to why you are so blue.

Nothing Last Forever

It was a dark September night when she was born,
This daughter would make there family of four.
They tried there best and gave her everything they could,
But in the end she needed more.

She needed something they could not give,
She needed peace and serenity in her mind.
She needed the thoughts to be clear,
She needed help of a different kind.

It was a lonely September night when she sat alone in the dark,
Her mind made up she could not take anymore.
She didn’t want to hurt anyone but the hurt she felt was killing her,
The pain could not be forgotten for in her mind it was kept and stored.

She cried while the pills poured into her hand,
Her failures shadowing her making her insane.
She knew nothing lasts forever,
She just wanted her tears to stop like the rain.

With each pill she took her mind flashed back,
She started to remember some of the good times she once had.
Those thoughts were soon consumed by the dark,
For every time she thought of the good it was always over powered by the bad.

Society Fails

Society says there is a certain way to live,
Has standards to whom and how we are to love.
But why do we follow someone else’s way,
If there is apparently only one person to answer to up above.

If God loves everyone on this earth,
And sees past everything including our flaws.
Then why when we don’t adhere to society’s rules,
Then we are scrutinized under society’s claws.

The outside layer of society seems so nice,
Likes to say we are a melting pot of diversity.
But deep down there is a certain list of unwritten rules,
If you don’t follow them your life is considered as perversity.

Certain rules and laws are bent depending on who you are and who you know,
We live in a society to which what you have is what your worth.
But everyone is equal and you can achieve your dreams,
Well that’s what is brainwashed into our heads from birth.

Society fails us because it is based on a foundation of lies,
Everyone is judge for what they do or say no room for drawing outside the lines.
We are convinced if we are different from the “normal”,
Then you should pretend to be something your not fearing to step on those society
landmines.

The fact that some people feel the need to hide a part of who they are,
Feeling ashamed for wanting to be themselves and to be a part of society’s proprieties.
That’s where society fails we are not open to different lifestyles or peoples choices,
But that’s what are one life should be a world filled with choices and varieties.

My Darling Little Girl

At first didn't know if you were a girl or a boy,
I only knew I was expecting a bundle of joy.
Then finally found out you were my little girl,
I saw you and knew you were the most beautiful in the world.
I heard your little heart race,
I got to see your sweet little face.
Your mouth, your eyes, your cute button nose,
The way you brought your foot up to suck on your toes.
You are going to be here someday soon,
I plan to give you the stars, sun, and moon.
You can do and be anything in this world,
But you deserve the very best and will always be,
My Darling Little Girl.
