Requiem of Elysium

Silver-lined beckoning moon beams
dance along, disquieting sacred ground
unmasked by truth, barefoot unencumbered
broken promise-laden blue eyes.

You whispered flame into existence
as if a stark naked sheath of sparkling
midnight velvet skies, haunted in surreal angst
revealing the beauty I will never possess.

Lost in revelry, the tune continues to play
repetitiously, in tired mind and restless thought
raging ember pulse coagulating, until feelings whist
now eternally slowed, water breaks from horizon.

Restful reproach granted in heartbeat-time
the metronome of life, always captures its prey
succumbing in surrender, while the new dawn casts shadow
over an oyster-birthed pearl on a rainy day in love.

I Am Alone, I Am Not

I scream frustration and agony into the wind,
The echo bears my very voice in bonded mimic;
Reminding I am not alone.

This constant fear of silently disappearing,
I sob into my pillow, eyes hidden within its feathers;
Reminding me I am not alone.

But this does not satisfy the empty vessel of my lonely soul,
I reach outstretched for your embrace and comfort;
Reminding me I am alone.

Arms becoming heavy and feeling insufficient to hold our bond
Gravity initiates its force, stubbornly I attain our weight trying.
Reminding me I am alone.

Breathless

Cloaked in the heavy mood of a whisper,
I am enrapture tossing myself freely to the breeze.
Traveling, risking time and space; darkness proves sinister
And the thought of morning a solidary tease;
I am breathless…

Mouthing the words ‘I love you’ as morning drifts in like pollution,
Uninvited entering my utopian dreamscape.
Permeating and clouding my vision’s resolution,
I drift into the desire of the day, my dreams raped;
I am breathless…

As if I had been running, running, running,
My heart pounding to the pitter-patter of my feet.
Subconsciousness, a state deliciously cunning,
I am left awakened with the memory of only your heartbeat;
I am breathless…

Lament of Scorn

No words to mend,
Hell's lack of moderation.
No salve to cool,
This fire’s damnation.
No drink to drown,
This love's dying thirst.
No breeze to blow,
Away this wretched curse.
No passion to hold to,
Through days so trying.
No voice to scream
But inside I'm dying!!

Lover's Spirit Transcendent

In the heavens of hell’s virginity,
Marble illuminates her being of celestial.
Lightening sparks bright into infinity,
Thunder roars, her beauty exceptional.
Harbored lost souls will regretfully reap,
Life as a mere nightmarish summation.
Spirits and demons cast in paradoxical sleep,
Crescendo in lullaby as chaos insinuation.
Voices in her head quicken into lulled insanity,
Devils cheer louder as deities cast lots.
Nails frantically digging fingers into profanity,
Twirling, twisting into nervous anxiety knots.
Light diminishing, no final wishes of resurrection,
Hell’s rapture continually fiction; allegorical.
Glassy limp last gaze at her endless rejection,
She surrenders in sleep to a false oracle.

Epochs race through time into virgin birth,
Clouds of other do play unknowingly blithe.
Voices and life of lost souls expresses mirth.
Silence is aware, commencing the riddles lithe.
Sweeping valley of frozen destiny, lovers wandered,
Rusty with the breeze those memories do sway.
Illuminated before them, thoughts of others squandered,
Fire and brimstone covered path leads the way.
In the waters of false prophesy the truth abounds,
The well of words dangerously wear at lover’s core.
Translucent, floating in noxious, thick surrounds,
Her beautiful bridal gown doth unfold before.
Flowing in the gentle wind of repeated history,
Revealing notions remaining quiet, long since been,
Exposing the secret pat, answers of mystery,
She lingers on air that has forsaken him long ago in sin.

Lover's Quench

Velvet soft rose-petal red lips,
Honey-slathered promises drip.
Luminous blue star-laden eyes,
Encompass soul-mate realized.
Blossomed kiss lingered in morrow,
Withered dead blossoms of sorrow.
Famished, reaching for sunlight drench,
Withheld desire, lover’s quench.

Virginity Dance

Tongue danced behind lips; anticipation,
Love transformed in unbridled liberation.
Fire-born body heat of scalding passion,
Unrealized immense infatuation.
Naked whispers confess love; consummation,
Bound by virginity-claimed emancipation.

Hatred Prevailed

Tangled in a dance almost tribal,
knotted and weaved within you, my rival.
Convinced and contrived I hold my stature,
pushing me further, my soul you fracture.
Drawing me close, your hatred barbaric,
our syllable sonnet-song remains forever generic.
Pushing you away, my words an explosion,
any hope of reconciliation, melts away like erosion.
Memories of you, a brain hemorrhage of reminisce,
until all that I am left is your empty black abyss.

A Touch of Whimsy

In the streets of seduction the crickets milk,
While the caterpillars spin their precious silk.
The sun is hibernating its blinding light rays,
Moonlight streams to bring close to the days.
Stars beaming down onto the steamy street below,
Exposing in all of the corners the webs spiders sew.
The symphony of the night when the sun retreats,
With katydids singing to their own off tune beats.
Open your window, let in the darkness of night,
And lend a willing ear to the world out of sight.
See the truth as Earth whispers, understand,
This wonderful world made by Mother Nature’s hand!

Kismet Unfurled

Gossamer adorned
Knotted love-laced bows
Neatly wrapped and scorned
Words carefully chose.

We dance this refrain
Dream-like sleep induced
Guided quick to fain
Promises seduce.

Pages rip transformed
Immortalized prose
Lover’s dreams performed
Reconcile compose.

Beyond broke to strain
Disguised truth abstruse
Blend until disdain
Kismet love reduced
