Lover's Quench

Velvet soft rose-petal red lips, Honey-slathered promises drip. Luminous blue star-laden eyes, Encompass soul-mate realized. Blossomed kiss lingered in morrow, Withered dead blossoms of sorrow. Famished, reaching for sunlight drench, Withheld desire, lover’s quench.
