An Imperfect Couple 2

Huffing and panting she ran down the path.
She had to get there before it was too late.
She had to stop him from doing it.
she ran but wasn't fast enough.
He was gone.
and she was alone again.

An Imperfect Couple 1

He looked across the bed at her.
The one light in the darkness that was his life.
She pulled him down from the ledge before he jumped.
She was too good for him and he knew it.
So today he picked up his things and left.

My Poem

Intelligence went first
Then law
when man's handicap set in
mankind now got high on God,
and the mind rested.

The Wasteland - a Short Story

Lost wandering the waste he looks at the Destruction around him
"What God would allow this!" He yelled
"No god would ever allow his "Perfect" children die like this." Replied an old man
"Then who would?" Asked the young man
"Death would." He answered
"How do you know this?" Asked the young man
"For death is the only thing that can actual effect man." The old man answered
"That's not true God saves all those who follow him, right." He asked
The old man chuckled "Why do think god exists."
"What do mean?"
"Man made god to escape death, but even god can't escape him."
"God can do anything!" The young man screamed
"Then why did he let this happen." The old man inquired
"I..I...i don't know why." The young said quietly
"Because he doesn't exist. Man made him to escape death, but all did was lead to even more death over who's god was right, who's god was real, and who's god was stronger."
"Then whats the point?" the young man said through tears
"Whats the point? Really there is no point. We live to die. One could say it's to ensure the survival of the spices, but we'll go extinct eventually. To have as much fun as possible, but that only distract you from the inevitable. So what is the meaning to it all there is none you just exist. You are the only one who can truly answer the ultimate question. You make your own meeting, and when death comes you greet him as an old friend." The old man stated.
"How do you know?" the young man asked
"Because I've always been here old friend."

God and the Tyrant

It is a said A man fight back,
A slave obeys
What they left out
is a God sits back, and watches
as a Tyrant wages war against personal freedoms.

A Note To the The Ones He Left

Have tightens the necklace around his neck to kill the pain.
Empty bottles, and smoke fills the room.
The one he loved left, with his heart.
Now he breathes a sigh of relief.
As the pain he's felt falls to the ground.

An Imperfect Couple 3

He just didn't understand that he saved her as much as she saved him.
she's been alone her whole life.
No family no friends.
They found each other at their lowest.
He was her missing puzzle piece.
But now loneliness swallowed her again.

Now she hurt.

Longing

You turn around and expect to see me there.
But no longer do I belong to you.
I'm free now to see the world.
I'm happy to be free, but I still find you there waiting on me.

Savior

I couldn't go on.
I fell on the ground and gave up.
But you wouldn't let me.
You picked me up and put me on my feet and told me it'll all be fine.

Relief

As the blood ran down his arm he gave a great sigh.
Relief came at the slice of the wrist.
For so long he felt tried, so tried of the bull*****of the world.
So tried of his life.
But now he Fells nothing.

But his family feels sorrow.
