Death

Death,
So painful yet so real,
Robbing us of love and hopes alike
Do we need wish for more?
Than to just wish you away?

Of my grandpa is gone
And so the tales too
All because you wanted more
Me ask when less you will take
For now for then, its grief you breed

If only I had the power bereft
To destroy you away I would
For the sorrow you left me I cry
And my dear heart you tore
No mercy for you would I feel
And clear my conscience would be
To say I hate would be
An understatement and a blatant lie
Forever gone and lost.

Death,
How I wish you were a tree
So that I would cut you down
And feed you to the fiery furnace
That you may feel the scorching pain
That I too had to pass.
How bad I wish you would go.

Of Love and Fear

Should I tell her?
Or should I not?
Of this deep seated secret in my heart!
Yet I wonder
Would she even care?
Does she know I exist?
Do I even have the courage?

I wonder why nature has to be like this.
I want her so much, yet I fear the response.
I guess,
Am gonna die with this secret too big.
I am going to admire
I am going to wish
I am going to dream
May be then, I will be appeased
That my love will not be in vain.
Strange,
This love is.

Lakeside Dreams

In the evening breeze, cool and soothing
Waves rolling and calling
And the birds chirping and tweeting
I make my forever dreams
Coined out of a memoir of days forgone

Far beyond the yellow horizon
In the hazy light of the setting sun
Dreams of days to come cross my mind
And I close my eyes in wishful thoughts.
Times will come when I will dream no more
So now that I got the time
Let me dream and dream again

Of better times and lovely days
When fear and anxiety reign no more
And laughter be the daily norm
Then, only then, will I dream no more.
But,
While all above are hallucinations big,
May I dream and never stop.

For the lake knows not my heavy heart,
Though it lulls the hurt within
And heals the wounds so deep
And so by the lakeside I make my dreams
And to nature submit my hopes.
Because,
To dream, I will dream and wish

Lets Change

Should we wish for time to stand still
Or forever remain in the mirth of yesterday
Always glued to backward thoughts
And never forth embracing modernity
When shall we ever welcome change?

Always battering our lovely wives
With neither sorrow and compassion lost
All in the name of culture gone.
Makes me wonder when love was lost
For time again I plead with you
At least consider the world anew

Do we need to endure the pain?
Removing all the lower teeth
To be seen as thus mature
Though I say just as one
May we forget the cultures low
And forge ahead in newer schemes
That we may together form
A world united in thoughts and deeds
Try as much to play a part
In the present world and more to come

The Lucy I Know

Laughing eyes illuminate you most
Understanding yet so strict
Cool, yes, cool methinks you are
You are the epitome of quality

Would you call it luck?
And say it wasn’t meant to be?
Moulds may freely grow
But of your accomplishments, hard work looms
U will continue to soar
Always and ever the leader I see.

Time will heal all pain
Under duress you definitely will excel
Should you feel almost despairing
Have faith that I believe in you!

Raindrops

Red as the sunset is to behold
And as the moon eerily illuminates a dark night
In that moment all thoughts fall asunder
Never was ever beauty thus lived
Days and nights then seem to halt
Roses blossom and flowers crane to glimpse
Of the masterpiece of Gods creation
Passing by with that awesome jaunt
So me, so us, of your elegance we behold
