The Devil Within

A gun to my head, isn't that convenient.
pull the trigger and release all my demons.
I'm ready now with no regret,
try to surprise me like Russian roulette.
I'm sick of this life and all the problems that follow,
this is the best way to end, the shame is too hard to swallow.
I'm growing weak its coming to an end,
finally relief, no need to pretend.
This is it, the light is fading,
come to my rescue I'm yours for the taking.
I'm destined to fall what this is, its a sin,
he finally got what he wanted, the devil within.

Schizophrenia

its an illness they consider to be one of the worst,

some go so far as to say you are cursed.

but what if it isnt what we were lead to believe,

what if its spirits and demons, that we cant perceive?

i think its possession that haunts these minds,

entities, evil spirits, and ghosts of all kinds.

they pump you with meds to make sure you are numb,

they dont want there to be a positive outcome.

they want to hide the truth that these things exist,

they will lock you up and lose the key if you try to resist.

its disgusting and cruel for the ones with the gift,

the unfortunate souls with their minds left adrift.

Perceptions

what is it about us that makes us feel the need,

to walk around tricking others into thinking that we succeed.

why are perceptions and images so important in our lives,

we feel like we have to please in order to survive.

it has so much power, it consumes our thoughts and minds,

its like we are writing a novel, a fiction of some kind.

everyone does it, they dont want to be left out,

only to find out later we have taken the wrong route.

consumed with what others think, when really theres no need,

what we dont seem to understand is you dont need others to believe.

its sad it seems that that's what our life revolves around,

it seems we need to face reality to find some common ground.

Reflections of Love

You are my strength,
when your here im never weak,
you are my heart,
i can feel you with every beat.
You are my love and what i say is true,
im telling you becasue i mean it,
the only one i want is you.
After all the things we've been through,
all our ups and downs,
it made me realize how much i love you,
and how we are endlessly bound.
I need you in my life no matter what it takes,
we were meant to be together,
you and i are soulmates.
All the years ive known you,
you were my best friend.
I need you in my life consistently,
i need you till the end.

My Love

As i step through the light,
suddenly it becomes clear,
your the reason for my life,
but i was scared of all the fear.
Your my son, my blood, you came from me,
your my life i love you your the reason i breathe.
Before you came my life had no meaning,
now that your here seeing is believing.
I never knew i could have the feelings i have for you,
my son, my love, my life, you came to my rescue.

My Feelings

My feelings are all i have left,
when i told you loved you,
i loved you to death.
I truly meant that i know you knew,
all i ever said was i love you.
When i think about it you were never there,
I'm starting to wonder if you ever even cared.
I will always love you and i will hate you too,
when i said it i meant it, i will always love you.

The Mirror

If i am you and you are me, then what is the mirror?
Its meant to deceive. To twist the truth, to spin whats real,
they don't want you to know what they are trying to conceal.
There's a world over there all backwards and bent,
a world if we knew we'd grow to resent.
Its free from depression, pain, sadness and death,
its beauty is magnificent, it will take your last breathe.
There is something here that craves infatuation,
this world doesn't exist, its just my imagination.

What Life

We walk the streets with bumbling feet,
looking for something that ends in defeat.
The meaning of life and why we're here,
we just keep looking, but nothing seems clear.
What about death we have heard so much,
what to believe about god, death, life and such.
Its a guessing game that we cant win,
its the wheel of fortune, give it a spin.
Life is something we cant explain,
life is life my thoughts are in vein.
We will know one day what to believe
but it will be too late, so don't be naive.
