Perceptions

what is it about us that makes us feel the need, to walk around tricking others into thinking that we succeed. why are perceptions and images so important in our lives, we feel like we have to please in order to survive. it has so much power, it consumes our thoughts and minds, its like we are writing a novel, a fiction of some kind. everyone does it, they dont want to be left out, only to find out later we have taken the wrong route. consumed with what others think, when really theres no need, what we dont seem to understand is you dont need others to believe. its sad it seems that that's what our life revolves around, it seems we need to face reality to find some common ground.
