Halee Asch Poem
Fire
Cleansing, pure
refreshes the world
Turns rubble to ash
Cleans skin from bone
Rejuvenated

Halee Asch Poem
Beast
cautious, wild
hunting, pouncing, running
into mans arms
Cat

Halee Asch Poem
His words
zepherean, serene
Penatrating, calming, tickling
My ears and my heart
Love

Halee Asch Poem
Why don't I write the day away and pretend it never happened
Why don't I leave it on a page in a book that will never make it on the shelf
What if I change a couple words,
a couple sentence, will anybody notice?
If I scratch out the ending or change the date, does that still make it mine?

Halee Asch Poem
Sitting on a wishing well
Wish and wish I may
But my feet are getting soggy
and I'm running low on change
I cant keep hanging onto dreams
Im drying out up here
My skins cracked and it falls slowly down
Waiting lightly on the water
Sitting on a wishing well
Something shines below
Sometimes I think Ill dive in
Sometimes I can still pretend
