Book of Stars

In a summer's noon of night
In search of vastness height
A love affair began through the hourglass
While a shooting star shall pass
We wished for innocence again
As we breathed our inner zen
Embracing under the velvet sky
Above the garden that we lie
His sweetness upon my face
I doubt I shall erase
The rolling tide of summer breeze
In a simple kiss of please
His hands perish upon me
Opens his eyes for me to see
Entering our garden of Eden
Our sanctuary to the end
In our hand you shall find
A love affair so tightly kind
In a serenity not so far
But only in our book of stars.

Can'T

Holding on these years, my feelings won’t let go
Your uncertainty eyes, please let go
Countless of the ways I want you
Can’t you see them under my skin?

Stay tonight, that’s all we have
Your kiss that hurts, I’ll never show
To make this real, more words shall tell
Can’t you see I’ve long been yours?

No one else will do, nor ever compare
The apple of my eye, your gaze still haunts
Saying my name, complete intoxication
Can’t you stand still with me?

Try hard to forget this Virgo of mine
But I need you so, can’t do without
If it isn’t you, another love just won’t do
Can’t you comprehend I feel for you?

Words left unspoken, so much to say
I let them burn, joined with my confessions
Every time we say goodbye, more months go by
Can’t you feel a third time is right?

Starry Starry Night

Away from the blackest fears tonight
In this moment we live for
Relaxed upon Fall's bitter evening

We take in the city's rush below
Innocence surrounds these heights
Alone we are but the starry glow

Velvet plush high above us now
Not alone we are in a clear blue night
Stars align to the scales watch us below
They keep intact, forever I wonder how

Obscurity above, I gaze to my side
He looks on, with no conscious of what I know
With this moment, I love him so
Concealed it must, my look is now above

I breathe in this rapture to keep inside
But free it to the silent stars to trust
I hold it to fate our signs will align
Hopeless it is for one such poetic reverie
Under one Summer's starry starry night.

Secrets

Just ask me, the secrets between the cracks
Compressing my love I have against you
peel beyond the sickness that you contain
And take those days and place behind our backs.

Tell me a secret, one full of vast mystery
Unreasonable the words placed upon those lips
Take back those finger tips touching my hair
This lighthouse you give, a house I must bury.

Keeping a secret, evidence in my heart
I cut my wings each moment you appear
A soul once needed that set me at ease
But this paper heart is still torn apart.

One more secret that must be told
I'll think of you today and always tomorrow
Each poem I speak, I always speak of you
That's just one secret I could not hold.
