Pain

I see the blood
You too know my thoughts
You ask me why i did this
I am ashamed at the sight
I did what i needed
My mind telling my soul
What my body wouldn’t do

Is this how it is
The satisfaction i never get
The reward of nothing
My heart cries just once
To see the hope
To feel the love it never has
To fill the gap its always had

You whisper to me
Tell me what i want to hear
But it's not what i want
It weakens me to think
All this time you thought 
But never knew me

I doubt myself 
You try to comfort me
The grip of your soul holds me
Tightens around mine
I feel your strength
The strength i never had

It doesn’t help me
Only makes this worse
The guilt I’ve felt gets worse
Burns in my chest like a fire
It will never die down
The pain is there
And it plans to stay.

Darkness

I sit alone while you leave me again,
In the darkness my tears begin,
You walk away, 
Leave me to cry,

I weep in silence,
You never understand,
See my past,
You never tried,
No where to run,
You've been caught in so many of your lies,
Nowhere have you been for me,

Maybe somewhere in this darkness,
There is a light,
I won't be seeing it without a fight,
I feel so lost,
Nowhere to go,
Need some help, 
I think I'll die,

I can't tell you I'm fine,
That'd be a lie,
This pain's too much,
I've gotta go,
I need your touch,
Can't find it here,
End my life with one last tear.

Taken

i love you,and you know it too,
but then i see the things you do,
and i wonder is it really true?
to see you fall and not get up,
tears me apart but i don't get upset,

i wonder to myself why dont i care,
is it because youve hurt me 
or because you thought it wasnt fair,
i watch you cry and see you bleed,
it hurts me to see the devils need,

you are lost and cannot look,
but are trapped and scared,
of what might happen 
if the devil is in there,
you finally look and are shocked to see
the devil has taken you and you are never free

you realize this has to change,
while i sit and watch you suffer,
and i find it not very strange,
that i too have come to see,
that I am too no longer free,

the devils hold is way too strong,
to fight alone would be a waste,
i need you to come along,
to fight for freedom,
for you and me.

I see you but you look away
hidden from the world you know
never seen and there you lay

Beside me you turn away
scared and shy to face the truth
that true love is me and you...
