Wait For Me...

Wait for me till I return
It will not be for very much longer
and I promise when I arrive
I'll be new, improved, much stronger
Wait for me till I return
and you will not recognize my style
you'll see what you've been looking for
If you hold on for a little while
Wait for me till I return
and you may finally feel the attraction
I know you'll want to hold me then
I can't wait to see your reaction
Wait for me till I return
and finally you will see
all this time you were looking elsewhere
you were overlooking me

Dangerous Game

This is a dangerous game we are playing
although now we may not see
we're blinded by our own needs
we may cause a lot of misery
The nights we share are so intense
we awake with no remorse
should I worry about my feelings
or should I just let things run their course
Should I continue pushing aside my emotions
although inside it isn't right
I try to shut out all these barriers
but they creep up on me at night
This is a dangerous game we're playing
we may be hurting ourselves without knowing
I don't want to loose you, I love you
Im bound to get hurt with the way we are going

For As Long

For as long as the promise that forever stands true
For as long as existence, my love for you will hold true
For as long as my eyes are laid upon you each day
For as long as my lips are able to part open to say
I love you, perhaps I’ve spoken of this, A million times or more as of now
I love you, I adore you, there’s no explanation, just came to be somehow
I love you, no surrounding, could possibly alter this heart
I love you and would search for the pieces, if it all suddenly fell apart
For as long as I foresee, you will always be part of my plan
For as long as you give me your all, I will also do the best I can
For as long as you continue, to bring this smile to my face
For as long as you stand by my side, in my heart you will always hold your place

With My Face In My Hands...

With my face in my hands, I fear the worse
My reaction to what may come, in my mind I rehearse
It will require great courage, for what I am about to perform
Hopefully you will understand, somehow we must conform
It seems as if with the changing of life, this road I must also pursue
All the schemes you’ve produced, all the times you’ve been untrue
I think I may have made a wrong turn, down this road of life
Sealing my mouth shut, just to avoid relationship strife
Although not completely disappointed, I envisioned a bit more
Blindly overlooking reason, because it was you I had come to adore
I’ve falling face first, into a rather large river of denial
Can’t say I will be walking away, with anything worthwhile
Many times I spoke aloud, pleading for you to hear me out
I now see I must begin where I was before you, without
So with my face in my hands, contemplating my decision
Nervous how you will take this, your reaction I try to envision
Perhaps this is also what you want, perhaps your reason for pushing me away
This brings new hope to my decision, I feel an urge to lift my head, and I obey
The time is near, we’ve made a date
I cannot let my emotions, cause me to hesitate
I know I am about to make the right decision
I cannot change my life, but I can propose a revision

Eventually

Eventually you will find someone
who you will love as I love you
I've been preparing myself for some time
but yet I still don't know what I'll do
Will she long to hold you in her arms
and to hear your voice each night
will she feel down when you feel down
will she want to make all your wrongs right
Eventually we will loose all we have
and I know I'll fall apart
will she long to look into your eyes
will she love you with all her heart?
I want to take you by the hand
and I want to be the one
yet I cannot, because to you
all we do is just for fun
Eventually you will turn to me
with those beautiful, innocent eyes
you will not know how much it will hurt
because all this time my loves been in disquise

Sometimes

Sometimes when it's quiet, I think of you
When the lights go out, I stare into the darkness
I have to light a candle
so it blurs images of you
I cannot bear to be without you
so I cry myself to sleep
When it rains, I imagine
that it is your heartbeat
beating against my window
I wonder if you ever lye awake
and think of my love, my smile
you know you could make me smile
I sometimes feel the sadness
When I see others together
because I am so lonely
for the love I once had
that candle
it didn't really solve
the answer to my pain
I love you
why cant you understand
I miss you
I hope you remember

I See You...

I see you so lonely, your withering away
Inside you are bored, and you want to play
but play you cannot, for there's no one around
inside your a dreamer, not much hope to be found
Slowly you pass through, every trying day
hoping to escape, you keep running astray
longing for freedom, you come alive at night
where there's no one to judge you, whether wrong, whether right
Imagination keeps your soul going strong
patience keeps you waiting, as you pray it wont be long
you want a companion, but it's you he cannot see
so on you must go, although you do not agree
Your past has left you, feeling alone and afraid
memories pass through your mind, of those who have betrayed
inside lives a child, screaming for someone to love
this longing need for security, your afraid to speak of
For a moment you close your eyes, forgetting all your sorrow
maybe things will be better, when you awake tomorrow
you refuse to give up, not without a fight
another day has gone by, as you turn out the light

Rescue Me

Hear me from my prison cell
where which I cry for thee
hear me from where I slowly burn
this place from which I must be set free
Can you come and set me on
a path that seems unknown
will you come and break the barrier
that holds me prisoner alone?
The darkness grows deeper, thicker
my eyes alone, they cannot see
will you shine your light when you
come to rescue me?
Rejected by life, as well as death
my place, I cannot tell
I yearn to experience heaven
All I know is this place of hell
Unable to escape, I need your guidance
to help me break through
I know your going to a better place
Will you come and take me, too?

Do You??

When your lying alone, do you feel lonely
does your heart ache as time grows old
when you think of me, do you long for me
are your days lonely, are your nights cold?
Do you wish you had said those things before
instead of saving them for after goodbye
did you count the days that passed
without me, did you cry?
Did every little thing remind you
of the way we made each other smile
do you think it would have worked
if we had held on for a little while?
Do you think our hearts would have been closer
if we had given in and had forgiven
do you ever wonder what we could have been
if we had let go of the past and continued living?
Do you ever wonder why it is
that you and I just couldn't forgive
do you ever wonder why we go on without each other
and still continue to live?
Do you think we could try once more
Somehow, someway we are right
do you think we are strong enough
you and I belong together tonight.

Please Forgive Me

Please forgive me for the feelings I display
I do not mean to show such affection
I now realize where things are going
and they'll only lead to rejection
Please forgive me for my openness
and the way I tremble at your touch
I want to tell you so much more
but I've already told you too much
Please forgive me, and in time
those feelings will no longer exsist
this road I felt that I should follow
will soon be a path I no longer persist
