When sea gods invisibly show their glory
They’re escorted by their elusive sea army;
Vow before them, their loud rhapsodic chords play,
As heard in light of blue waves on summer day.
Marvelous army with mighty spiral swords
Hewed by sea gods, their magnificence- behold!
Their trimmed trident’s tines conjure like somersault,
Wish I'm sea god’s knight to ride on them and joust.
Coastal birds herald their rare presence with glee
With ineffable joy, breeze hums sweet ditty;
Surfs break in applause beneath the granite cliffs
As splendid narwhals’ display… nature breaths…sniffs~
Narwhals are great sea god’s mighty unicorns,
They’re special sea army, prides of Poseidon!

In ebullience, the sky dresses you in flair

Like the time when you were born, one’s joy was on top
I sing a song with gratefulness for all these years

C is for Curie, Marie -a woman known by her theory of radioactivity,
D is for Dalton ,John -a meteorologist who developed an atomic theory.
E is for Einstein, Albert in his theory of relativity and mass-energy equivalence,
F is for Franz Boaz who studied human cultures through methods of science.
G is for Galieleo Galilei who worked also on telescope as astronomer and physicist,

are far more precious to me
than any treasure
your big sacrifice
nothing more to compare with
you’re my great hero
I owe you my life
mom, my heart melts when you cry
your tears: pearls of love
unconditional
that’s the greatness of your love
in you, I feel God
mom, I’m so sorry
sometimes, I make you lonely
but you’re dear to me
you bear all the pains
pearls of great love on your cheeks

for I do believe

Note:
This poem was conceived both from the “Pearl” theme and one of my possible adorable picture themes of my latest contest, “Mother’s Love”- merged into one.
It is also composed with the inspiration of all mothers in this world. You’re indeed the greatest heroes/heroines! I am so proud of you! I lovingly dedicate this poem to you dear mothers and friends! Big hugs to all of you! Of course, I include especially my loving/dearest mom who’s my greatest inspiration, refuge and best friend.
This poem can also bring to us a message for this Easter Season as we remember Mother Mary who’d suffered much seeing her loving son Jesus Christ’s great sufferings on the cross at Mt. Calvary- a mother’s great love to her child indeed!

A Birthday Poem For My Very Special Friend
(This is also composed for my dear friend, PD)
Your birthday is indeed a great time of gaiety,
It calls for a celebration, a Grand Poetic Party
But, what I have just said is only a secondary
Most importantly, your life is great and healthy.
I am writing this poem first and foremost,
To send my love and best wishes to the most
For all the dreams of yours, let’s make a toast
May they all be fulfilled without any cost.
Since, I don’t have here your complete address,
I cannot send you chocolates, cakes or roses
So, I’ll just send my fervent prayer for success
To God, He may protect you, guide you and bless.
I will also enclose in these lines of my poem,
My songs of bliss for you and your family at home,
May you be free from all worries and gloom
Age added but, you’re a gal who incessantly bloom.
My dearest friend Linda, have a very happy birthday,
If you are only here, I’ll dance with you today,
Like a lady on her debut on the 18th Natal Day

I was broken when you met me
You gave me hope and courage,
Your words were enough strength
To bring back my heart a whole again.
I learned to love you more and more
Each day, dearest friend of mine,
To know that you are leaving
These teardrops fall from my eyes.
I will be faithful to you till the end of time
Whether you are far or near,
Forever in my heart I’ll keep you dear
I’ll be waiting for you even under the rain or storm
I’ll try to be strong although my heart is torn.
