Story

Things weren't suppose to end this way
They weren't suppose to end at all
I never planned a goodbye with you
You were suppose to stay here with me
But as each day rolls on
I come to see
That that story
(The one I invented)
(The one I hoped)
Will never come to be
And even though
you're with her
And not with me
It makes me happy to know
That you and her were meant to be

Mom and Dad

I remember the days,
When my mom and dad were superheroes
Everyday, they’d save my world
But now I hear things about them
Things I don’t want to accept as true
But the words won’t leave my system
I remember I asked someone one day
“If I find out about everything, will I end up hating them?”
I looked into their eyes as they said,
“Yes, you will.”
Ever since, I ignore all talk about mom and dad
And I don’t want the day of hating them to come any time soon.

Fate.Coincidence.Love

Was it fate?
Or just coincidence?
Five years ago you were mine.
But then things turned wrong.

Five years later, and we are together again.
Fate?
Coincidence?
I don't care.

All I care about is that I'm finally with you.
Thinking about you day and night.
The way you smile at me when you know what I think.
Or the way you caress my cheeks with your rough hands.

All I care about is you.
And it shall rest that way,
For you are my future.

Same Old, Same Old

Everyday I come home so excited to talk to you
Until I remember that you don’t even give me the time of day
So here we go again
With the same old fights
Which lead to the same old headaches
Which lead to the typical broken hearts
And it’s not like it’s a monthly event
But more like a daily one

Beautiful Lizzy

Light brown hair.
Beautiful green eyes.
Sensitive and creative emotions.
All real.
Not fake.
She's beautiful,
oh yes she is.
Oh beautiful Lizzy.
She has loved.
She has suffered.
She has been cheerful.
She has been depressed.
She is the wisest of them all.
She has gone through everything imaginable.
Oh beautiful Lizzy.
The way your light brown hair flows around your face.
And your beautiful green eyes stare out at me.
You're beautiful Lizzy.
Yes you are.

Sister

all this hurt thats building up inside
is caused by you
all these tears that i cried
Are caused by you
i remember 10 years ago
when i was sitting at home
waiting for you, my little sister
to arrive
now my insides died
as i sit and wait
but only to wait for you to not arrive

Daily...

And I’m tired of the same old stuff
Happening the same old way
The daily lies
Which are then followed by the daily broken hearts
I’m just so tired
Of my hopes being raised
And crushed down to the ground
Daily….
I just wish that I could look into the mirror
And see someone that I admire
Instead of the monster that I see within
Daily…
I just wish, that I would stop being so tired
I just wish, that my wishes could be fulfilled
Daily…

Corpse Bride

She was all alone,
Left under the ground,
For many lonely years.
She thought she had found someone.
But he turned out to be her worst fear.
He turned on her,
Like a snake can turn on a person.
He stabbed her in the back,
and stole her very treasure.
Left under the ground,
For many lonely years.
She thinks someone has found her once again.
But what was this?
This man already had a true love?
Once again,
Her heart has shattered.
And she is left under the ground.
To remain lonely for years to come.
Until her true love has come to find her.

My Eyes.

Look into my eyes
Tell me, who do you see?
A girl in misery?
Who’s lost and incomplete?
Or a girl who looks for more?
A more meaningful message to this world.
Look into my eyes
Tell me, who do you see?
Just Me….
