Mom and Dad

I remember the days, When my mom and dad were superheroes Everyday, they’d save my world But now I hear things about them Things I don’t want to accept as true But the words won’t leave my system I remember I asked someone one day “If I find out about everything, will I end up hating them?” I looked into their eyes as they said, “Yes, you will.” Ever since, I ignore all talk about mom and dad And I don’t want the day of hating them to come any time soon.
