My Daughter, My Hero

Who is your hero?
As for me, I would have to say,
"My Daughter, My Hero."
She brings joy and happy tears to my eyes each time she says,
"Mommy, I Love You."
So once again I ask
who is your hero?
And once again I reply
"My Daughter, My Hero"
Although my reasons would change for I have so many,
She is my hero for she brings laughter when I am sad, and is there to inform me
that everything will be alright.
She is my hero for she is there to take care of me as I am there for her.
She comes to me before any other.
And once again I ask,
Who is your hero?
As for me, I again reply,
"My Daughter, My Hero."

I Haven'T Heard From You

I haven't heard from you yesterday,
I haven't heard from you today.
You just turned and walked away.
We were suppose to be together that day.

Why did you say you love me?
Why did you hurt me so?
Why did you let me go?
Why did you lie?
You weren't there to see,
it was you who made me cry.
Not even as much as a phone call from you to say
Baby I lied, I won't be there, not even goodbye.

I waited for years for your call.
Just to tell you I still love you,
I miss you,
And I'm so sorry that I done you wrong.

You told me you wanted to come home.
You told me you wanted to try again.
You told me you still love me.
So I let you back in again.

   I began to trust
I began to laugh
And for once in a long time
I felt whole again.

   I loved you once,
I love you still.
I always have,
I always will.

   I can't help who I love
But it's you that I do.
Even though we aren't together,
I will accept it and forever more be blue.

My Sister, My Best Friend

Even though you weren't with me
on this special day,
Please remember I love you always.

	You are my sister
and my best friend.
Forever and always.
Till the end.

I Fell In Love With You Again

I fell in love with you today.
Just like any other day.
It's so hard for me to say
not knowing if you felt the same way.
But here I go
Just so you know.
I try to let my feelings for you show.
Your kisses,
I wish to never miss,
Please listen, you must know this.
I miss you so badly when we're apart
it tares my heart apart.
I love everything about you
from your head to your toes.
Day and night I think about you.
Can't get you out of my head.
Every second of every day
When I'm not with you
I wish I were in your arms instead.
I'm so glad we're together
hoping it will be forever.

Only For You, My Love

Only For You, My Love

	My life is complete
Now that your here with me.
The touch of your hand,
sends me to the most
beautiful promiselands.

The kiss from your sweet lips
that you lay upon my cheeks
Oh honey, you make my heart skip beats.

	To you,I surrender my heart.
Only to you, I surrender my soul.
And only to you, I would lay my life
down for, it's all yours.

When you told me you love me
I took those three small but oh so powerful words
and I engraved them in stone.
Then next to your words
I engraved I love you too and thank you
for making all my dreams come true.

I would climb the highest mountain,
Swim across the deepest sea,
Walk across the hottest fire,
Just to make you see,
This is how much you mean to me.

How Much I Love You

I lay down with you every night
and thank God I have you in my life.
I stand beside you through ever day,
and wish you could hear what my heart has to say.
I laugh with you during good times of life,
and wish you could see how glad I am to be your wife.
Our love will be put to test,
But I prommise,
My love for you will never be
put to rest.

	As my heart yells,
and my lips whisper,
I love you so much.
But with my touch I hope you understand,
How I will love you always
and even past the end.

Dear Lord, Please Take Me

A long twisted road,
I no longer have a soul.
I lost it the day,
I had to let you go.
A bitter young woman I have become,
My feelings now are only one.
The hatered I have torwards myself,
Closeness?
No, I can't let no one.
Please don't ask why.
Please don't try.
If you do, my reasons will only make you cry.
My heart has turned the color of night,
For me to love again, will be a great fight.
I hate everything,
Day and night.
So Dear Lord,
As I lay here asleep please end all this hate in me
and take my life tonight.

You Are My Everything

You are my heart,
you are my soul.
You are the one
I will not let go.

You are my eyes,
thet help me see.
You are my ears,
that help me hear.
You are my hands,
that help me feel.
You are the one,
that helped me heal.

You are the one,
I love so much.
Without you,
life would be so rough.
So please don't ever sit there and tell me good-bye,
cause all I could do is sit here and cry.

After all you are my everything.

Would You Be There

If I were happy,
Would you be happy with me?
If I were sad,
Would you wipe the tears away?
If I were lost,
Would you be the one to lead the way?
If I were lonely,
Would you hold me?
If I were afraid,
Would you be there to protect me?
If so, where are you?
Where were you when I needed you most?
If I sked you to be my friend,
Would you say no?
If I asked you to help me,
would you walk the other way?
If I asked you to love me,
Would you laugh at me?
Would you take advantage of me or would you stay by my side?
Would you be there?

As He Was

As he kissed me,
I felt loved.
As he held me,
I felt passion.
As he wiped the tears away,
I felt comfort.
As he laughed,
I felt at ease.
Then, as he told me I was his only,
I felt pain for I knew he lied.
And yet I stayed.
As he told me he loved me,
I felt hurt for I knew another woman held his heart.
And yet I stayed.
As he laughed,
I was depressed.
As he wiped the last tear away,
It was then that I realized I had no more to cry, they all dried.
As he held me,
I felt alone, for he thought of her.
As he kissed me,
I then told him goodbye, bowed my head, and slowly walked away.
