At the End of All Things

At the end of this day,
Lies the start of another,
Thus the world will transform
From dusk to dawn,
And the moon's dark reign
Shall be over.

Ashes to ashes,
Dust to dust,
We live this life
Because we must.
So the cycle goes on and on,
Until the end of all things,
When everything's gone.

Then the Deity shall rise
And bring Chaos to all,
He will stand there and laugh
At Heaven’s great fall.
Do not pray to God,
What use is there now?
He will come down to Earth,
And then He will plough
The fields of the dead
For our wandering souls,
He will not stop,
Until all life He holds.

Ashes to ashes,
Dust to dust,
He will come forth from Hell,
To feed his bloodlust.
So the cycle will ne'er start again,
At the end of all things,
When Chaos shall reign.

A Winter's Night

The clouds are grey,
And have been all day,
But through the gloom,
I gaze up at the Moon,
And it stares unblinking back.
A single eye,
Up in the sky,
Amidst the inky black.

A cold wind blows,
Through my hair,
And up my nose!
So crisp, so clean,
So fresh, I sneeze!
And in the air it froze.

Stars so bright,
Frost so new,
Snow starts to fall,
And sticks there too.
I'm almost home,
And by the fire, all alone.

On a Winter's night.

At the End of All Things Final Version

At the end of each day,
Lies the start of another,
Thus the world will transform
From dusk to dawn,
And the moon’s dark reign
Shall be over.

Ashes to ashes,
Dust to dust,
We live this life
Because we must.
So the Cycle goes on and on,
Until the End of All Things,
When everything’s gone.

Now we three have risen
To bring Chaos to all,
We stand here and laugh
At Heaven’s great fall.
Pray not to this God,
What use is there now?
We have slain his great Host,
And how we did plough
The fields of the dead
For their wandering souls,
We will not stop
Until all life we hold,

Turns ashes to ashes,
Dust to dust,
I have come forth from Hell,
To feed my bloodlust.
I am the Deity,
Slayer of Gods,
And I fought ‘til the end,
No matter the odds.

Now your turn of the Cycle
Has been shattered asunder,
At the sound of the second,
By Sky’s mighty thunder.
With his spear he brings,
The splendour of winds,
With his ice he’ll freeze
Everything over.

Now this world is dying
And your reign has ended.
The third wandered true darkness
To extinguish your light
With a power that none comprehended.
Dusk is her name,
All burns in her flame,
With her blade
Even Death she transcended.

Now the Eternal Cycle
Begins once again,
Just look to the Sun,
A new day is dawning,
Grieve not for the past,
There’s no time for mourning.
This fragile old world
Will ne’er be the same,
At the End of All Things,
When Chaos shall reign.

Come take my hand,
Then you will see,
It isn’t nearly as bad
As you think it will be,
For we invite you now
To join us peacefully,

So we can make a new world,
A world pure and free.
