Charles Melody Lightning Ink Poem
Salutations to all the poets
That waters my ink,
Those whose words never
Make my heart shrink,
Of you always i ever will think,
Standing alone, i could sink
So i grasped on your knowledge
That is without stink.
*=~*~=*
Phyllis Babcock is a raining day,
In her Motherhood, no
Hot sun to hinder my play.
Carolyn Devonshire is a rose flower,
Tender Mother and even from afar, her
Lightening Ink draws me closer.
*=~*~=*
Linda Marie, the Sweet heart of P S,
Is the essence of love letters
Her poems are like the good weathers,
Constance La France is indeed a rambling poet,
No wonder, her lines drives me to the point,
Doris Culverhouse won my heart,
She trades literature,
The poet Destroyer kills me
With Ink, a poet by nature.
Dr. Ram Mahta is a poetic chef,
He stirs the soup with delicious thoughts.
*=~*~=*
Heart dedication to all my poetic friends...
For your presence is like fragrance to my breath.
Gari La Buda, an inspiration, Richard Carrie, a melodious pen, Carol Brown, a steady one,
All of you are Lightening Inks.....

Charles Melody Lightning Ink Poem
" From the debt of my heart"
The African child
Sat behind the bamboo fence
He was sober and tense
Sputtering and wondering.
He forsook the bush meat
And the gathering under the moonlight
For sobriety and the causes of his uncertainties.
His clothes were like dried leaves
His feet like openings in the eaves
He longed to see a brighter tomorrow
He clarified the causes of his sorrow;
Sins of the father,
Fighting not to make things better
Therefore darkening the weather,
Making his destiny falter and bitter.
Tears exuded from the sound of his flute,
His fears enlarged like a parachute
But one thing he never understood,
Watch and pray, oh! African root
For your foundation is stinky, filthy,
Faulty and guilty...... watch and pray.

Love, sweet key of joy
The stare into my eyes are...
Forever calling.

A caring one is more
Than sweet fragrance,
Even when sweet fragrance ends,
The caring one remains...

Charles Melody Lightning Ink Poem
Night falls, and she stood up quickly,
Brushed up swiftly, arranged her
Hair briefly yet attracted, for her
Beauty, and smooth face like the
Surface of her chest...
She walked to the door slowly,
Turned gently, and stirs at herself subtly
From head to toe, then to her mirror
Which she earlier disdained.
Her hand bag contained
Preservatives protecting her horror,
Midnight she is a terror,
Daylight, an innocent beauty,
If you see her you will want her
As your lady, to make you matrimonially busy,
And happy.
But, try her and see, you will
Have yourself to blame after burning you up like flame,
Guys in new york calls her BEACH,
After they tried, but her
Heart they never REACH.
Wall street barons see her and flee, for she stings like a bee,
And her deception, they never
Want to see.
Las Vegas Cassino is also her prey,
To most night lovers, her tentacles
She spray.
If she smile you will think she is shy,
If she talks, you hear a nightingale,
But when you look into her profile,
You will find out she is filthy and guilty,
She is the immoral beauty...

Charles Melody Lightning Ink Poem
In your mind you conclude that
'this one is a dried bone'.
And you look at me as if am alone,
But i have got back bone that makes
Me rise.
I rise! for i am the glittering shining rising star.
I am the African sunrise
I am the future surprise
I am the poetic merchandise
The most wanted prejudice
The lightening ink that thunders rebuke
At your envious heart.
I am the black talking drum,
Talking, making sense as in twisting
Your brain until it starts learning to make sense.
Does my boldness frighten you?
Why restless when am stress less?
Why do you freeze when i breeze in?
You device means to see am falling
But if i fall i will rise more rooted,
Sure footed, like a tree in the swamp.
Till tomorrow or even till i finally mellow
However, i rise.
Though is not by my strength, i'm only a serving vessel.
Out of thatch huts and bamboo fence
Emerged the future modeling art.
Banana boy from hot black soil,
To become a glorious star.
Who cares if you like it or doubt it or not to admit
That my prophetic poetic tonic makes your brain
Charge like alcoholic toxic.
However, i rise...
I rise like a balloon going high high...
Like Maya Angelou,
I rise! i rise! !

Charles Melody Lightning Ink Poem
Old mother's pot of soup is
Like a goldmine that promotes
And brightens my face...
Even it is not palatable to others,
To me it is like apple in my mouth,
Making my countenance rich and sure...

Charles Melody Lightning Ink Poem
Flawless love,
Flawless assurance,
Flawless deliverance,
All without money,
All like honey,
Better than any.
Flawless love,
Flawless corrections,
No manipulation,
No distraction,
No commotions,
Plenty of emotions,
Nice justifications.
Flawless love,
Taking away diseases,
The captives he releases,
Never friendly with sickness,
Never! yes never reckless,
He gives salvation to those he fore knew.

Charles Melody Lightning Ink Poem
Outside your haven
Are worries and sadness,
The fears and tears are
Growing and coming so close,
I feel i am in a war front.
Outside your haven
Are desolation and tribulations,
Being so heavy and pressing me strongly,
Treacherous happenings all over the air,
The warmth you gave me,
Vanished as i stepped out of
Your haven.
Outside your haven
Are arrows and sorrows,
Looking so wicked and never
Want to be friendly.
The favor i used to savor,
Can't be gotten outside
Your heaven,
But inside your haven are
Founded peace and serenity
Which i call my rest.

Charles Melody Lightning Ink Poem
What you measure is what you get.
If you think you are beaten then you are,
If you think you can not try then you have failed,
Your mindset is like your handset,
What you press is what you get.
If you think you have no class,
Then you are truly low like grass,
Thinking high is growing like a tree,
But avoid pride and be humble.
Be sure of yourself, assume your
Throne to win your prize,
Else your crown will walk pass you,
The battle of life is defeated by faith,
Please shoulder your courage to win
Your opponents.
The strong that will not think well is liable to sink
Inside a pit,
He who wins is he who thinks right,
Outside these, failure wins.
