Fields of Blood

Can you hear the sound,
Of drummers marching?
Can you hear the pipes,
As the pipers are playing.

Go forth, yon brave men,
Fight for the country today.
March on, march for battle,
The fields will run with blood.

Centuries ago, they fought for country,
Times never change for they fight still.
Guns replace swords, bombs replace arrows,
Go forth brave souls, you are fighting still.

When this battle ends, remember the dead,
They fought with honour, fought with pride.
Be remembered boys, we will not forget thee,
There will be flowers, always, on fields of blood

I Am Batman

I patrol in my backyard
Cruising im my pedal car
I can see the Joker
Well, it's really a toy clown
Locked safely away in the toy shed

I am looking for Two Face
A teddybear that my dog ripped
So my Mum sewed up his face
But now he is out there, free
I must track him down

I search for him in the kitchen
There I spot the Scarecrow
It is a puppet, long and thin
I must stop in my search now
So I can tackle with my foe

I put the Scarecrow behind bars
My search continues, relentless
I see Two Face hiding in the lounge
I now creep up, slowly behind him
I pounce, the battle is long, but I win

That scarred teddybear is put away
Where he won't harm anymore toys
My Batcave awaits, up in my bedroom
I am sleepy, my eyes are feeling tired
I am Batman, even I must sleep

The Mystery Box

A Wizard trapped her reflection.
To be within the mirror forever,
She had spurned him with rejection.
Two keys to a mystery box hidden forever.

A brave young Prince wanted to set her free,
Solve that secret of the mystery box.
So he began the search for the first key,
To open the first of the two locks.

He braved a dragon high on its' nest,
But he did not find the key hidden there.
He battled Ice Warriors with his best,
They had no knowledge of the secret to share.

Then he would save a Witch from a Demon Banshee,
She told him all he had to do was ask for his reward.
So the Prince was given the first key,
He searches on, battling a Demon Hoarde.

Years pass him by, until that Wizard he faced,
The Prince was an old man, he still would fight.
The battle was long, the Wizard was disgraced,
Gaining that second key was a victory sight.

The Prince travelled back to the mirror and mystery box,
He was tired and very old, but he would set her free.
So he took out both keys, and he opened the locks,
A light surrounded him from the beautiful sight he could see.

He is young again, he has his life given brand new,
From out of the box, he took out a diamond heart.
Now the girl starts before him with a heart that is true,
The Prince lifted her up in his arms, for they shall never be apart.

Proud Diana

She watches from high above

For that son she does love

A princess on a Heavenly cloud

For her young prince she is proud

He has proposed to his lady sweet

The woman that makes his heart beat

In Heaven his mother will now sing

For he gave his love a special ring

With Heavenly wings, she jumps for joy

You can hear her say, "that's my boy"

On that royal wedding you can pray

She will be there in spirit that day

Ghoul

I live in darkness, in hidden caverns
Dwelling below the graves above
I hate the light for it burns me
Causing my flesh to bubble and melt

I feed on those that have been buried
The dead become my banquet, my feast
I devour each decayed body with relish
Even the bones snap as I swallow them

I can not eat the living, it is my curse
I fear HIM far above for it is forbidden
To taste fresh meat and drink sweet blood
If only I was brave enough to be tempted

It is a lonely life, sometimes I find a mate
A human woman, that is caught in the dark
I drag her down into the furthest caverns
She screams as I take my lust in blackness

I never feed them, only use them for mating
They starve to death and I let them ripen
If they are pregnated by my seed inside
My child will dine of the decaying remains

It is how we breed but humans are strange
Centuries ago they hunted us, destroyed us
Some of us hid, sleeping for those centuries
But I have now come awake in this new time

They drive metal machines, I see them at night
Metal machines even fly high up above me
I fear I am now the last remaining of my kind
So I must hunt young female women to breed

My kind will rear up and dominate this new world
That has long forgotten my kind, I will remind them
They think my race only fantasy, they will learn
They will be reintroduced into knowing true fear

And my offspring will no long live in fear anymore
No longer will we be only satisfied on the dead
This is a time for my new race to also change
So humans now beware, we will devour the living

X Marks the Spot

Yo ho ho and a bottle of wine;
Your heart will be mine.
You will make me walk the plank;
Because on your love I can bank.

Me heartie, I be coming for you.
Brave a cutlass battle, through and through.
Secret isles we will go a-sailing.
Give me another kiss, never failing.

Land ahoy, here I am looking for your treasure.
A map of your heart is my only pleasure.
I will find ye, that will be my lot;
Because X marks the spot.

The Other Side of Love

They say that love is blind.

Love ripped out my eyes.

It came and devoured my soul.

Then left me out on a cold floor.

Leaving me trying to pick up the pieces.

They say love is in the heart.

Love come and cut out mine.

Left it bleeding within my soul.

Left it still beating in solitude.

Pulsing alone within the pain.

They say that love hurts.

Love has loved me too much.

With each red hot needle in my skin.

With each well aimed kick.

Love has shown me my own place in hell.

I Hate Myself

I hate myself for being me

When all I cause is misery

When love changes into enemy

I am left feeling alone and empty

I hate myself for what I sometimes do

And what I seem to put others through

I always try to keep my soul true

But you never see what comes out of the blue

I hate myself for letting myself lose her

Thought so many storms we could weather

Always believed we could always stay together

But love just never seems to last for ever

I hate myself and I always will

I have to swallow the bitter pill

Of this hate it will never have its' fill

And I am left hating myself still

Waitress

Waitress can I have a cup of coffee?
Maybe, one day, you will join me
For you never stop, you never stop

You serve, always with a smile
Taking orders all the day long
For you never stop, you never stop

Seeing you always brightens the day
Cleaning the tables for the next diner
For you never stop, you never stop

So keep a thought for all the waitresses
Coming to your table, serving good food
They never stop, they never stop

The Script of Life

When we are born, our life begins
This is the opening pages of our birth
And these chapters grow through our youth

We write these pages with our very actions
We still learn, so our story continues on
Building as we learn of love, hate and other emotions

But no matter what we try to do, try to alter
We can never go back to those times gone before
We can never change that which is already written

Like wise, we can never find a way to read ahead
It is impossible to glance at our last page
To see exactly what Destiny has planned for us

You see, certain things are still yet to happen
Because this script of life is yet unfinished
Each passing second writes new words to read

Your last breath will become your final sentence
When, at last, your book can now be closed
And that is when your script shall be no more
