Loved the Way

I loved the way you hugged me,
And the way you held my hand.
I loved the way you looked at me,
to where I could barely stand.

I loved your deep eyes,
The color of blue and gray.
I fell to peices,
when you looked at me that way.

I loved the way you laughed,
And the way you made me feel.
All I think about though,
Is if it was really real...

I loved the way you sang,
And the way you caught my eye.
I loved your entire being,
So much that I didn't care if you made me cry.

I know that soon,
I'll wake up from this dream with you.
Always wandering as I look at the moon,
Why is there only one here, not two?

Water

The deep depths of the
Cold and blue and silent for
A moment for me;
Wrapping around my odd mind,
Forgiving my small failures.

Hey, Danny

Hey, Danny.
Where were you when I needed you?
Where were you when I was looking like a fool?

Hey, Danny.
Why didn't you fight for me?
Was I not good enough for you to keep?

Hey, Danny.
Why do you make me so blue?
Why do you use me like a tool?

Hey, Danny.
Why didn't you call?
Why won't you catch me when I fall?

Hey, Danny.
I was there for you.
I stood up for you.

Hey, Danny.
I fought for you
I wanted you.

Hey, Danny.
I tried to keep you happy.
I treated you like family.

Hey, Danny.
I really did call.
I would catch you if you would fall.

Hey, Danny.
Were you just a liar?
A good one, too?
I needed you so much it was dire.
But now I'm through with you.

Better Left Unsaid

All the time it took for me to trust you,
And all the time it took for me to say "I love you too",
Is all better left unsaid.

All of the laughs,
All of the tears,
All of our fights,
All of our fears,
Are all better left unsaid.

All of the "I'll never hurt you"s,
All of the "forever"s,
All of our hopes,
All of our ventures,
Are all better left unsaid.

All of our dreams,
All of our nightmares,
All of our hugs,
All of our cares,
Are all better left unsaid.

All of the promises,
And such little time it took to tear them down to the floor,
Is all better left unsaid.

Make It Through

I see the pain in your eyes,
And you should know I've been there too.
All you tell is lies,
Just to make it through.

I want to make your pain go away,
I want it to haunt you never again.
I want you to stay,
So I can help stop your sufferin.

But your stubborn and fearless,
Loveable, but careless.
You try to convince me
That none of this is so,
You tell me to leave it be,
And I do so you won't go.

But, I still worry about you,
Night and Day.
I hope it is soon,
That I can help find a way,
To where you won't have to lie,
And waste away
Just to make it through
Another day.

Dear Mother

The pills she takes,
And the needles he uses,
Are turning them into fakes.
The child always loses.

You think she's just fine.
You think he's completely useless.
But they're slowly losing time.
They're slowly making nooses.

You think that it's their fault?
Their fault that they're slowly dying?
Heck no it's not!
It's YOUR fault they're laying there crying.

It's a quiet night;
Calm and peaceful.
But when you find them in the morning light,
You'd wish you had been a mother more faithful.

Do you see it now?
You took away their individuality.
Do you know it now?
You were the one to cause their fatality.

You were the one to kill them...
You, oh "loving mother".
--Cutting the fragile flower from it's life-giving stem--
Because of you, for all eternity they'll suffer.

Love

Love is a poison;
It's just like a prison.

Love is totally fake;
Don't convince me otherwise, it's already too late.

Love has always been fatal;
It always involves a traitor.

Love always has an unsuspecting victim;
It's all apart of the system.

Love always leads to death;
Iknow, because it has made me breath my last breath.

Why?

You’re finally gone…
Gone for good.
I never had the chance to say I’m sorry;
Or the chance to hold on to you for long.

Why’d you have to go?
Why couldn’t you stay?
Why won’t you listen?
Why are you always doing this to me, though?

I just wish I had the chance to say
I miss you and that I love you again.
I’m sorry for all of the yelling
I just wish I had another day.

Why’d you have to go?
Why couldn’t you stay?
Why won’t you listen?
Why are you always doing this to me, though?

You say that you love me,
And that you won’t ever lie.
How could I have ever listened?
How could I have not seen?

Why’d you have to go?
Why couldn’t you stay?
Why won’t you listen?
Why are you always doing this to me, though?

Knowing you, you’re probably lying
To some other poor girl right now.
Then you’ll leave her like you did me,
And leave her forever crying.

Why’d you have to go?
Why couldn’t you stay?
Why won’t you listen?
Why are you always doing this to me, though?

Even after all of this has happened,
How on earth can I still love you?
How can I care?
How can I still want you beside me?

Why’d you have to go?
Why couldn’t you stay?
Why won’t you listen?
Why are you always doing this to me, though?

But… We still had our precious moments,
So, how can I NOT love you?
How can I NOT care?
When you were always there, when I had you?
