Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Twinkle, twinkle little star
The Star of Bethlehem--that's what you are!
Shepherds watching their sheep in the field
Saw angels on high announcing Christ's birth
The Messiah, Our Saviour--God's Only Begotten Son
So they followed The Star to worship The Son

Not only the shepherds--but The Three Wise Men--The Magi--from lands near and far
From Asia, from Europe and from Africa said--"Let's find the long-awaited for Messiah!"
And gifts of gold, frankincense and mhyrrh did they bring
To The Christ Child, Our Saviour, The Baby King

Twinkle, twinkle, little star
I wonder where You are?!
Said Herod--the evil king--to his sorcerers
Where is The One--The Jewish people call their deliver?!
The evil magicians replied--"We don't know but we know who does--The Three Wise Men--
and the sheperds in the field!"
So just to be on the safe side--King Herod had all the male babies under two killed!

When this didn't work--Herod called on The Three Wise Men
For he wanted to commit another greivous sin!
"Tell me--my dear men--where is The Deliverer?!
Me and my sorcerers want to bring gifts to God's Son--lied king Herod--with an evil grin!"

The Three Wise Men--knowing the king's evil intent
Sent the king on a wild goose chase
Meanwhile--Joseph--being warned in a dream--took his royal family to Egypt--on the run
To protect The Messiah, Our Saviour--God's Only Begotten Son!

So you see--my children--Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star--is not just a childhood story
and children's rhyme
It is the story of The Christ Child--The Greatest Story of all time!

With This Ring...

To me--you are everything
You signify more to me than this diamond ring
Because when I found you
All my hopes, prayers and dreams came true

You are everything to me
And since to Christ--you've bent your knee--we'll both be free
To be best friends for life
And with this ring--I do vow
To be your confidante, your lover--your gal--your wife--'til death do us part

With this shining band of gold
In my arms--it's you I'll always hold
And I thank God--you prayed me into His fold
And before God and man--I do vow--to be by your side--until we grow old
Because your smile, your touch, your caress has time and time again--healed this lonely
man's broken heart

For with these rings--we do vow
To always live, learn and love in the here and now
To always cherish and honour one another forever
To each other--this is what we do vow

Why I Put Pen To Paper (A Poet's Prayer)

Some of my poems may bring a tear to your eye
And some of them may make you cry
But that is why I write
To help family and friends get through the night
And to keep them company
Until the first rays of the daylight

Some of my poems are funny
But isn't that better than the ones that make your nose runny?!
However--I don't have any about the Easter Bunny...

Most of my poems are about The Man who died on Calvary
Who bled and died upon the tree
So we can live with Him in Heaven for all Eternity

But regardless--have a nice Resurrection Day!
That is all I have to say to you today
'Cept for I hope one day with your company--
I hope to have a payday...Hey what can I say?!

Anyway--that is why I put pen to paper
To tell everyone about My Lord and Saviour

Nighty Night Night--before you go to sleep tonight
Why don't you get on your knees to pray?
Now rest your weary head and go to bed
Turn off the light...
And sweet dreams--'fore you know it--
It will be daylight!

Come Drink From the Well

One may say--in my life--all is swell
But unless you drink from the water of life like the woman at the well
The reality is with Jesus--you won't spend Eternity--
But with Satan and his angels in hell
But you say--I'm a good person....
But according to The Son--that doesn't matter
For all of us are as filthy rags except the Saviour
Since all of us were born into sin
So therefore Jesus said we must be "born again"
What does that mean--you say?!
What do I have to do to become "born again"
It means that you bow your head and pray
And repent of all your sins today
And start a new chapter in your life
On your road to Eternal life
Following The Life, The Truth and The Way
Just say--Father forgive me for all the wrong in my life I have done
And God--from this moment on--I choose to follow Jesus Christ--The Son
In Jesus Holy Name--I pray
Amen

Happy Easter Day!

Keep spreading God's Word and His Love
Given freely to all that ask from The Son Above
For He came to save you and me
And those who believe He will set free
So to Him just bend your knee
For you know He died on The Tree at Calvary
Well that's all I have to say today
Have a nice Easter Day!!!

An Anniversary Prayer

As you reflect back on your life together
On your anniversary
Recall the vows that you took
As you stood face to face
Pledging your love for each other

You solemnly promised before God and man
To forsake all others both in thought and in deed
And furthermore, you expressed your love for each other
Repeating these words one after the other--
To have and to hold from this day forward--
For better or for worse--For richer or for poorer--
In sickness and in health...'Til death do us part--
You both promised sincerely from your hearts...

So since right from the start
You promised to no longer be two--but one
Then The Son will be your guide
As you walk through life together--forever--side by side
May you have many more years before you

                                          In Jesus' Name
                                               Amen

Promise Me...

If you wake up tomorrow
And I am not here
Know that I have gone Home
To Streets of Gold
Never again--will I be old
Heaven is just as The Bible has told us
For Eternity--Forever we will be with Jesus
If you don't wake up tomorrow
Where will you be?
Promise me--to Jesus--you'll bend your knee
Promise me--you'll be with me--My Family
For Eternity...
I'm begging you--I love you...
Please--promise me!!!

So Come

Like an artist who paints on a canvas
This poet with her words tells others about Jesus
My poetry is a supernatural gift and a talent
That through the indwelling of The Holy Spirit is Heaven Sent
For you see--to save you and me
Jesus came to the earth in the form of a virgin birth
For thirty-three short years--Jesus walked this earth
Then after being crucified--He died
And back to His Father in Heaven He went
But He promised The Holy Spirit to be Our Guide
That is what Jesus--God's Only Begotten Son has done for all of us--His Bride
It's time to decide--for time is short
Whose side you are on--the sheep or the goats
So you had better change all your evil ways
'Cause these are the last days
And stop sowing wild oats
Or on Judgement Day--in The Lord's Court
You'll be sentenced to death
So don't wait until you draw your last breath
For it will be too late to decide
Don't wait until you lose your wealth
Just 'cause all of these years because of all of your money
You've been thinking to Heaven--you'll get a free ride...
Don't wait either--until you lose your health
But decide now to be on The Lord's side
For The Bridegroom is coming soon for His Bride
Says Jesus The Son--"Come one--come all
'Cause in hell--beieve Me--you won't have a ball
So don't delay--don't hesitate--come to Me today
Before it's too late
Come to Me--bend your knee
From bondage--I'll set you free...
So come!"

Come

Come one--come all
Come to The Son--
Answer The Master's call
He came to the earth
So we all could receive The New Birth
Jesus does say--"Come to Me for I bled and died on the tree on Calvary"
In life we may slip and fall
And Satan may darken our days
But Jesus does say--"Hearken to My Voice"
Make the right choice
And change your evil ways
Then Eternity you will spend with Me
My Children--I love you--it's true...
So for your lost souls--don't make me cry
Just bend your knee to me...
'Cause for you I did die--
And rose again--
Just give up your sins
And come..."
