Love In Any Language

love in any language
spoken straight from the heart
knows no bounds or barriers
it’s how the words impart
a smile, a hand shake
just one kind word
can erase all of the
boundaries we hold
onto so tightly
where would this world be
without love shared
together by all mankind.

Forever Until

The day has finally come
that was long awaited
Time for Linda-Marie and Ron
to join their lives as one
A beautiful day of celebration
ushering in the union of
two people with so much love
transcending all the ages
A special time to give thanks
for what will be given
As you share your life together
united as a couple
Forever until……..

My Little Treasure Box

when i walked into your room
i felt such a peace i
hadn’t felt in a really long time
you smiled and said
jerri i’m so glad to see you
i said i love you so much
the time we spent together
that last day was so special
’i’ve kept it in a
special place in my heart
that i call
my little treasure box

Relaxation Therapy

Lying comfortably, I take myself to another place.
With each breath inhaled and exhaled,
I go deeper within side of myself.
Sometimes my body is nonexistent,
I am in a higher plane.
My body is numb all over,
Pain is taken completely away.
Relaxation takes your body from tense to smooth,
clearing the mind of your worries and
making you feel rejuvenated through and through

My Three Wishes

If I had three wishes that could be made true,
I can tell you without thinking
what I would like to do.
My little friend Kate’s just five and has cancer,
could you touch her and heal her please,
She’s fighting really hard, but she’s getting really tired.
I would ask for peace, no more war,
let our soldiers all come home,
for they’ve fought a long hard battle, and
their so far from their families.
Lastly I would ask that all the missing children
would be found, so they and their parents
could finally lay to rest in peace,
knowing where they are sleeping.

Chasing Sunsets

I can tell when the end off day is here,
I know that a new sunset is near.
I’m not quite sure where, or exactly the time,
I just know there’s a sunset that I have to find.
Across the bridge, walking down the beach,
I’ll go wherever, however far to catch a glimpse,
to behold the beauty the sunset portrays across the sky.
It paints a different picture each day,
All gloriously created by the Master of Creation.

The Greatest Gift of All

God blessed me with the greatest gift,
a mother who I love so much.
Her smiling face is a light,
that brings me such joy.
Always there beside me
guiding my footsteps through each day.
Sharing laughter that is contagious.
to remember for always.
I’d be completely lost without her,
I can't even think about that day.
I know this much for certain,
she’s more than just my mother,
she’s the greatest gift of all

A Brand New Day

There’s always another sunset,
just beyond the clouds.
What color you never know,
until it touches the sky.
Red and yellow are just a few,
colors that make up the hue.
Never rushed or in a hurry,
it glides across the sky.
Shining off of the water,
as if colored with dye.
Spilled across the horizon,
line by line it starts to fade.
Dropping to the other side,
where a sunrise will awaken,
the dawn of a brand new day.

Silver Wings

sail on silver wings
acrossed the sky
raise your wings
and lift them high
glide through the
air without a care
carry no worries
set them free
in the breeze

Morning's Sunrise

it’s quiet along the beach, just the sound of the waves
lapping onto the shore, seagulls flying all around
i wait anticipating the sunrise and
see just a hint of color starting in the sky and as
i watch a small dot of orange deepens overhead
right before my eyes, i don’t dare blink
it all happens so quickly, a small tinge of orange has
dispersed to a larger brighter color that is blinding
yet beautiful and in a matter of minutes it has transformed
itself through the many stages of a sunrise into a
bright sunshine glistening over the water
bringing awe and warmth to the start of a new day
and to everyone who beholds it
a feeling of hope, joy and anticipation
of what this new day will bring
