Aliens

Into space, a rammed ship the passing Star spewed.
Feverish, life into its bowels forever doomed.
Survival hopes by a tumefying Sun aerified.
The void, blindly the last ship hopefully roved.

About a new demesne the space travellers were excited.
From afar a blue planet, with alleviation, they sighted.
Secretly nearing, at dawn they furtively on the planet landed.
A new chapter in their civilization they had just started.

‘What a Shangri-la!’ bewitched, they all exclaimed.
Vast, green meadows that no horizon limited.
Here and there by splashes of color patched.
That small, clean springs generously watered.

The commander under the charm stooping.
‘ look ! Life in here is pullulating.
Each creature, its task dutifully executing.
Listen! Their sprightliness they are serenading.
It must be good to live here.’

Somewhere in the wild alarmed Geese ominously cackled.
A hellish plan the artful Aliens concocted.

Under human skin they concealed.
With unaware Earthlings they mingled.
Unnoticed, power they gradually gained.
Up the ladders they patiently climbed.
Ultimately, human fate in their hands they grasped.
The worldlings’ minds they totally captured.

With treasure and pleasure they baited
Vice and decadence in tellurians they reared.
Race inequalities they first prophesied.
Hate and disdain they tacitly stirred.

Family haleness they second attacked.
Males and females they confused.
Their innate assets they crucified.
Looseness and profligacy they skillfully preached

Rejuvenation off households sloughed.
ROBINS DESERTED THE SKY.

My Princess

Sweet roseate little flower
The evergreen bush princess
Dancing on a gentle breeze air
your scent in my breast nestles
to the recesses of my heart ,it travels
Dripping honeyed nectar, my blood it ripples.

Dazzling, joyous little wren
Soaring uncloudy blue skies
Deeper inside my soul
tamping down lovely fugues
turning every breath I take
a love song of yours.

Winsome, celestial little angel
heavenly wings endlessly beating
every void around roaming
bigger bit of my heart daily gaining
your image in my eyes swelling
your image, my sole known dreaming.

Ode To Beauty

All the poets I invited.
"Mull over Beauty". I asked.
To their waiting inkpots they hied.
On their prolific imagination they relied.

The senses they all becomingly exploited.
Awe- inspiring tropes they invented.
Fetchingly, tuneful rhymes they produced.
Pompously, their musical verses they chanted

"Stop it! Stop it!" I shouted, discontented.
None of their odes, my feelings, awakened
To the curtain I walked and the 'beauty' I unveiled
Speechless,they all stood,totally affected.

When they talked, they hardly babbled.
Their muse, they furiously cursed.
The soul-stirring poet I praised.
The lord who your beauty he molded.

Revenge

Vast skies, the tiny drop’s soul now ascending
Dying, to heaven helplessly heading
On the ground,a corps, dried, into vapor turning.
Hard-hearted heat, its flesh mercilessly still biting.

A condoling cloud the driblet’s life saving
Caring,on its back with compassion carrying
Fleshier, stouter ,stronger everyday growing
Looking down revenge on earthlings swearing.

The driblet, now a monstrous Armada proudly admiring
Ruthless mercenaries from all lands continuously levying
A rumbling cloud to the battlefield majestically riding
Over the village endlessly roaming, the enemy feverishly skulking.

Thick icy mist from above came down swirling
To their nests alarmed birds hurriedly sending
Silence the defenceless, scared village invading
Dribs in thundering rage down their whole selves hurling

Roads, paths, streams every means taking
To the big river in floods ,All hankering
There, the driblet its pongos eagerly waiting
A demonic, resentful revenge that night caballing

Into a cruel monster, the river now swelling
Silently around the village sneaking
Leaves in trees rustling, doors suddenly creaking
The bugle then reached the villager’s hearing

Dayspring, cadaverous, pale faces in icy waters wading.
Behind , carrion, felled homes leaving.
Cherubs in shivering, sapless hands carrying.
Warmth, a dry offered hand seeking.

Schizophrenic World

Wonderful Anthems
Here and there into symphonies weaving
Words, panegyric words, inebriating
Nations everywhere each with glory beatifying
Faith, love, courage beautifully praising
Ethics, peace and hope in every song, exhilarating
Unity all are calling; freedom dearly holding
Life, shelter, chastity, wonders everyone offering
So many egos awry inflating

Schizophrenic world
Schizophrenic world we are building

False most hymns are sounding
Dissonant words travel to hearing
Peoples slowly, painfully dying
Hunger, famine more land gaining
Casus bellis easily finding
Exclusion, hatred everywhere disseminating
Extolled virtues nowhere, any longer existing
Human fresh flesh cheaply exposing
Scavengers we are all turning

Schizophrenic world
Schizophrenic world we are all building.

As Cold As Ice

Slaughter in here, ethnics
Butchery in there ,politics
Souls from various creeks
For Charon to cross the styx

As cold as ice

Deadly storms won’t cease
Sweeping Tsunamis increase
Forest fires destroy Greece
Why not ask Nature for peace?

As cold as ice

Manmade four-wheeled slayers
On roads merciless killers
Toys for hit and run drivers
Highways innocents’ manglers

As cold as ice

Stand and watch
Human feelings do scotch
This is but a small blotch
Your heart door forever do latch.

Tiquayine Hazelnuts

Bruised little feet, up the stream, struggling,
The rocky, dry river pluckily facing,
Bitter memories, the little souls bearing,
Heinous scars, their tiny body still covering.

Around utter desolation again discovering,
In true hearts solace seeking,
A cleansing mother’s embrace wishing,
Regenerating father’s words longing.

Silent, the father, for a while, at them looking,
The wished words never uttering,
Helpless, to a little shack withdrawing,
A bleeding heart ,unobserved, dressing.

Tongue-tied, the mother, her dried eyes squeezing,
The lean, weedy girls feverishly hugging,
Glances, around now and then, furtively throwing,
A hand in her motherly chest ,resolutely, plunging.

A handful of hazelnuts to each of the two offering,
A smile on their pale faces instantly triggering,
In their pockets the precious filberts keeping,
The little menials down the stream now walking.

The mesmerizing hazelnuts once a while feeling,
Past, painful memories away fading.

The Hill

Mystical the old Hill standing
Over it thick mist hazing
Kids, we were at its foot playing
In a large green meadow dallying

Heedless, innocence enjoying
The Hill’s slopes utterly ignoring
In youths, up we were growing
The Hill in our eyes was swelling

The mist little by little retreating
An enthralling Hill gradually unveiling
Majestic it stood there really tempting
The pasture we were all forsaking

One day at its bottom standing
Our sires admiringly observing
The Hill’s slopes they were climbing
The top in sight yet remote looking

A desire, inside, our minds seizing
To conquer the peak an urging longing
The meadow in our hearts dying
To venture up the Hill all our wanting

Vernal, conceited the worst choice making
A steep, sharpest inclination challenging
Soon unknown hardships we were facing
Feet down the slope perilously sliding

Fingernails for a grasp breaking
A helping hand around searching
Bruises our skin covering
The price we were told for learning.

That was only the beginning
Harder moments later we were enduring
Helpless we saw our sires one by one down falling
Yet the ascent wasn’t just sadness and mourning

Dear kids in the meadow our places taking
Their sinless smiles our hearts warming
To green flowery fields for a rest inviting
Peaceful sweet- scented fields, regenerating.

Earth-Ache

A sweet dream,
Horrendous screams
Aborted.

Secret inner fears,
Now to the extreme
Ignited.

Seeking a gleam
Out in the night
I hurried.

Greed- sharpened claws,
Dripping blood
The soil deeply clenched

Dying Planet
Past glorious days helplessly
Mourned.

Droves of lost earthlings
Dark streets
Roamed

Ravenous sharks ,
biophagous marauders
I recognized

Scrumptious baitballs,
fleshy quarries
Oddly ignored

Predators and preys
For a sanctuary
They all fierily looked

Side by side
The street they sorely
lurched

Doomed
For life they desperately
Gasped

Poisonous belch
Their senses to death
Throttled.

The First Time

The first time I saw you
Was writing a love haiku
A rose in the morning dew
I wished had been a Vishnu.

The first time I heard you.
In my ears words echoing, soft coo
My whole body lusciously imbue
Heart and soul your love pursue.

The first time that day in July
Something inside went deliciously awry
Stirring, life adorning chi
With love couldn’t but comply.

The first time I saw your smile
Loving, devoid of guile
The world I left for a while
Back I am from a dry exile.
