like Gods omnipotent will
invisible , untouchable impossible to hold

night creeps in slowly silently
envelopes me in darkness like a warm blanket
hiding the brutal reality of the day 
forgiving its failures
like broken promises scattered on my empty soul

dancing on the dew covered blades
