Painful Truth (1)

Does it take you back? Does it knock you down and beat you bloody? Or does
it rip your heart out of your chest and leave you bleeding and crying? Why
should anyone ever have to face this kind of pain? Because strength comes
from pain, through strength and pain come endurance. And only the strong
survive.

Little Desert Creature

I am just a little Desert Creature
Still growing, Still living
Every moment I live is in defiance
To your laws of Physics
Yet when I become something new
Stronger, Faster, Smarter
You want to claim me as your own

But you won't. I know my place.
It is not with you.

Like a Lily Pad

Like a lily pad she floats among the surface of the water
Holding up people like rafters holding up a roof
She is magnificent in her form
Never letting the rain knock her down
She is strong
Independant
and Never vain
She is her own kind of perfection

She is like a lily pad.
She is beautiful

The Animal Within

Through the fires of hell I walk
Unafraid, strong, and merciless
Casting Light Upon My Inner Self
Things I put on the highest shelf
Locked away, covered and forgotten
Just as Pandora made our world rotten
I opened them up, and I set free
The beast that I had kept within me

My Agony

I am a man
I love, I hate, I bet on bad games
Why do I cry like a schoolgirl
who's relationship went sour
Why do I wish this way my final hour
What is this fire burning within me
It's bringing me close to death,
Yet it slowly saves me
She will always be
My Agony

True Soldier

This world is rotten
True Chivalry is forgotten
I am the last of my kind
a man of heart among fools of minds
Loneliness comes like a blade
Destroying all I've made
To instill fears
Taking away years
But I will not die
and I will not cry
But will I ever see
what I am supposed to be
What is my worth in gold?
Am I truly this cold?
Does my heart grow icier each year?
Or is this another paranoia-induced fear?

Another Painful Moment of Love

It stings, like one million bees
All finding their mark in one moment
Ripping skin to pieces
and injecting venom,
making it hurt for a long time.

It makes you shake
Like when you spin around and around for a long time
the world underneath you seems unstable
when it is you who is more unstable than a spinning top

It heals you
Like time, like hugs, and like medicine
Sure it hurts, sure you sometimes wish your life over
But eventually the pain numbs
You'll feel better
And then you'll move on

It's closure

Freedom

Can't touch, can't love, can't kiss, can't hold
Can't do anything but be cold. I hate the world, except for her
So I try, and I fail
Burnt am I, I dead am I, All I've done is cry and cry
Ripped to shreds, cut down and dried, all I need is to die
Please dear god, end my life. If you're there
If you care, Silence these nightmares please!
I am through! God I hate you!
I rule me! You lied to me!
Go away! Do not stay!
I am free! Let me be!

My Eyes

I am alone.
I fight everything off
after I push it all away
I watch it play
Like a bad movie at the end of the day
I shaped it out of clay
and like a father watching his son play
I want to find a way
to be there every day
but I see that I can't
I'm just a washed-up man
like sand, the tide will redeliver me
maybe then I'll be free
or maybe I'll get locked up
and they'll throw away the key
I wish I could, and I know
nothing in this world is set in stone

Strongest of All

Strongest of all is the cactus
He who stands quietly and resolute
Strongest of all is the cactus
HE stands neither like me nor you

He stands so lonely in the desert.
He stands so wisely and firm
He stands with a pride of his own
He stands with a pride that he shows

So when you are in the desert, always remember this
The Cactus is a warrior, and he lives in his own bliss
