Reality Or Dreaming

My heart skips a few beats
before I realize that I’m not breathing.
Am I dying? I ask myself
but there is no response

Is this the end?
I close my eyes
It feels so much like falling
much like suffocating
much like nothing

I don’t know what’s going on around me
all I know is that I just felt a breath leave me
my eyes fly open and see the people around me
My heart must be beating

I don’t know if this is a reality
or if I’m dreaming
All I know is I hear screaming

Then I realize
It’s coming from me

Out of my lungs
Through my mouth
Out into the already intoxicated air
 Evaporating everything

I don’t know if this is a reality
Or if I’m dreaming

Paint My Life

Today I painted a picture to Represent my life and who I am I had many colors at my fingertips But I only used a few, I started with A silver blue, to represent the calm & serene River I am I let red symbolize the wildfire of anger That courses through my veins I let black, the color of asphalt stand for the suffering And the pain A snowy white Was to signify my bubbling laughter The kind you always want to chase after I used a magnificent purple, like the Color of a ripe grape to represent The colorful imagination where much of my time has been spent Orange was there to embody My freedom, like a little girl Spinning with her bright summer dress spread all around her A nice sunshine yellow stood For the creativity locked inside me When I finished painting that picture I thought how unique, Destiny.

Misery

My arms are outstretched Searching Finding nothing in this lonely, Black pit of nothingness My eyes are tightly shut I am unable to see I open my mouth to scream, Somebody, Please save me from this misery I’ve found no way out I have given up Please don’t come looking for me I am lost and forever I will be, Trapped with misery because we all know, She loves company

Rain Drops

The soft quiet sound

Falling on my umbrella

Rain drops dripping down

Runaway Train

No matter how hard we try we can never catch that Runaway Train

We must stare at the problems that face us in daily life and live with them

Because if we don’t live with them, how will we learn from them?

The mistakes that life brings are meant for us to learn and make again

We can’t just hop onto the Runaway Train that takes us to a place far away

Where all of our problems just seem to fade

“Runaway Train never going back, Wrong way on a one way track…”

These are lyrics by Soul Asylum

This is what I am reminded of when I hear the words “Runaway Train”

Tomorrow Is Another Day (Fixed)

Tomorrow Is Another Day

Tomorrow is another day
Aren't you glad that you survived yesterday?
You can stop holding your breath
 just live your life
You never know when it might be gone
 so open your eyes
Don’t worry,
don’t cry
Just remember
Tomorrow is another day

Everyday holds a meaning
Whether it be truth or a lie
Don’t hold back,
 don’t hide
Discover what it is you seek
and don’t worry if you stray
‘Cause all you have to do is remember,
Tomorrow is another day

Suicide Can Smile

She didn't look like herself Something was wrong She was too pale Her lips were painted red And her skin was ice cold Her eyes a soft blue Young but so old The faint beating of her fragile heart Such a sight would tear you apart She lays in her bed limbs un-moving Like a horror scene straight out of a movie Her breath like an air conditioner comes out cold The note on her dresser she had to fold Her eyes glaze over And her lungs collaspse She takes one last breath And she dies with a laugh R.I.P Sabrina Martinez

Darkness Falls

The snow falls lightly over my shoulders

Acting as my shadow.

It allows me to walk the night

Invisible.

The snowflakes fall on my face

Sending shivers through me

Leaves me freezing.

I wrap my arms around myself

And stand beneath the light pole.

Waiting for eternal rest,

from this cold feeling brushing my shoulder.

death.

Hurt

I can't tell you what it is I can't even tell you what it feels like I can only tell you that it's the worst pain You'll ever feel in you life It'll feel like every bone in your body is breaking Like every breath you take will be your last Like every muscle in your body is failing to support you And thats only the least of it. There is so much more! You eyes will feel like they're bleeding from all the tears you'll shed. You tounge will swell with words that you can't say. Your ears will make you question everything coming into them. And your heart, Well thats the worst part of it! It will feel as though its stopped beating... And who knows, maybe it has.
