Ashley Cooley Poem
My best friend, my love I lost by train
apart in two cities, we cried in anguish.
Letters of love never reached her,
letters of love never reached him.
Train departed so I could see you one last,
snowstorm pushed away my arrival.
Nightfall stroke the sky, I hoped you were there,
late night dulled my vision, surprised you were here.
Five centimeters per second is I had left of time,
embrace your warmth of the open flame,
a kiss too quiet and mellow.
I shudder my icy face, watched yours glow.
Echo of a moving train, I shall leave
I hope to feel that warmth from you someday.

Winter blissful spring,
Pedals of cherry sprinkled,
Swept away in sight

Ashley Cooley Poem
The silhouettes of my fantasy,
Stirring around my mind,
Deception, conception
Fading away to the kindle of my light,
The memory still vaguely seen upon, father
The fantasy outlines the dream light I once drew but I cannot deliver it,
By holding my life in tangles of lines that should never had been crossed.
To preserve my infamous soul I stay in the process because it’s too late
to appall from the nightmare that have imprison me. My reality drips down to the floor,
The factor I put myself in that position is the reason for my disposition
What was my raison d'être?
My point of existence, is m my survival
I had retaliated the seduction and desire of the burning flame,
The distance between the narcotic and the arsonist is not too far from home,
I needed, I wanted my personal space, but I dare not go through life blinded by lies,
I still daydream in my room of flesh, seducing the demons that made my life a mess,
My domain of thought is never to enter with love but with pleasure and immense courtship.
Still animated, still timid by the convulsion, the immense pain I cried,
I am tormented by the vision of you,
Looking at the gentle moon shining through the mist and clouds,
It lights the floor but slowly fades away to the sun, assuming that the moon might
Owe it one later on tomorrow,
Persevering the light, key to my memory,
It is no longer an ordinary day,
However, I still lay through the mist and rot,
Never asking more of what I cannot conceive or feel.

Ashley Cooley Poem
My infinite skies
My eyes danced around the warmth of the wind
wrapped my fingers around of a lady
glowing across the oasis of chilling bones
the bonfire loves to hear wonderful stories
rejoicing over people’s laughter and serenity
Chilling cold outdoors were not welcome inside
The bonfire forced them out
Everyone gathered to watch
Flames of exotic dancing takes center stage
The bonfire gazes upon the person to tell the next story
We all watched and listen to the amazing adventures
When it came time for the next, the torched was past
Songs of love and warmth swept across
Celebration of family and friends gathered
Warmed and snuggled together
Our eyes filled with fire
Reflections of memories that stayed with you forever
Memories that cherished with everyone,
Mine was about tradition and passing my warmth
I may not be here to see it forever
Those times of infinite skies
I wished it never end.
