Gentle Giants

Legend says their eyes are the gateways to their kind, gentle souls,
They give sight to the blind and help the wheelchair bound run again,
They find the lost and heal the sick,
They are the best listeners and teachers,
Ive seen this majestic creature save a child before he had a seizure,
My own life has been saved by these Gentle giants,
They seek a true life long friendship and love from us,
Sometimes they are misunderstood as aggressive, dangerous or unintelligent,
This is so far from the truth,
As a wise cowboy once said " there are no bad horses, just horses with bad expiernces and habits",
they need a friend who is compatible with their personality to handle them and love them,
they all deserve a second chance like they have given us,
now its our turn to save them like they have saved us,
its time for us to be the horses guardian angles.

A Night To Never Forget

Two lovers hand in hand
Walk in the sand
Enjoying the setting of the sun
And just like the night their fun has just begun,

Tonight is a night to remember
Stars dance across the tropical midnight sky setting the scene
On a beautiful romantic night in september
They danced on the beach as they had in her dream,

He told her to hold out her hands and close her eyes
He puts in her hands the surprise
A dozen roses with a card
She opened the card and read it aloud
"I never forget the little things that you say,
I didn’t forget what day it is today,
I know you love to watch sunsets on the beach, stars, and roses,
I did all of this to say I love you and to have the happiest birthday that
you’ll never forget."

Speechless and teary-eyed
He holds her close and she starts to cry
and she said
"I’ll never forget this night until the day I die."

A Boy and a Girl

He holds her tight,
As they sit on the bed of the truck,
Looking up at the stars,
Without a care in the world,
Caught up in the moment,
He gets up and turns the radio on,
And they slow dance all night long,
He said he loved her,
She said she loved him,
He said he meant it,
Her eyes started to water and she held him closer
They saw a shooting star
They made a wish
He asked if hers came true
She said, "Yes it has.
You love me and mean it."
She asked if his came true
He said, "Yes, I know what it feels like to fall in love."

All She Wants and Needs

Another guy hands back her heart broken,

No matter how hard she tries to be the dream girl they never stay,

And every time those three simple but powerful words are spoken,

And for once she wants someone to mean what they say,

All she needs is for someone to love her with no conditions,

She wants to be treated like a princess,

She needs someone with good intentions,

She wants someone who will randomly give her a tender kiss,

She wants a good guy to miss her when she’s away,

She needs someone who will stand by her side,

She wants to know that being true to her self is what wills him to stay,

She needs to know that he has nothing to hide,

Every night she prays to god asking him to give her the strength to forgive and forget,

She prays for the most fragile and valued thing she owns to speak loudly and grow strong,

So when they crush her she wont let them she her upset,

She will have the strength to fight back the tears until they’re gone,

One of these days she will find the one who looks at her like she is the only girl alive,

And will want to stand by her side for the rest of his life.

Good Friends

No matter where we are we always have a fun time,
when we get together you know you're in for a good laugh,
sharing ideas, secrets, opinions, advice, thoughts, hopes and dreams,
no lies, just the honest truth,
talking about everything and anything knowing that what was said stays between us,
like a family we stick together,
around us you can be the real you and still be accepted with open arms,
you know you'll always have a shoulder to lean on,
good friends arent afraid to tell ya how it is
it makes you feel good to know that your surrounded by people that love you
unconditionally,
it's hard to find good friends like mine.

A Passion of Fire

Sitting in front of the fireplace,
Listening to the fire crackel and pop,
Enjoying their romantic evening,
He loves the way she looks in the soft,
Flickering glow of the fire,
Mezmerized by her beauty
He gently strokes her face with his hand,
Then lifts her chin with his finger
and gives her a kiss,
She gently rests her head on his chest
As he runs his fingers through her soft brown hair,
They hold eachother tight,
As they sit and drink hot chocolate in silence
For most of the night, finally she says,
"I wouldn't trade the love that I have for you for the world.",
he smiles and kisses her forehead,
takes a sip of hot chocolate and says,
"I wouldn't give the feeling of falling in love with you
and having that love returned for the world."

Questions of a Caged Bird

Tell me why you even bother to stay,
And this time, don’t tell me another lie.
Tell me why you left my arms for hers,
She must be ten times more beautiful than I.
Tell me if her lips taste like mine,
Tell me if she loves you like I do.
Tell me if she says your name the same,
Tell me why I’m not good enough for you.
Tell me why you always said, “I love you,
You’re my one and only.”
You promised you would always love me,
And that you would never leave me feeling lonely.
I feel like a caged bird,
Longing to be free.
How long did you think you could have her,
At the same time you wanted me?
I wonder what you will do,
When she leaves you like you left me.
By the time you open the door,
I will have already spread my wings and flown free.
Tell me, was she worth it?
Was she worth loosing me?
You can only hurt the one who loves you so much,
Before the spread their wings and fly free.

A Guy Like You

Baby you always make my day,
with your warm loving smile,
and when you embrace me with that big bear hug,
I can easily fall asleep knowing that it’s my
loving heart and soul that wills you to stay,
my passion for you grows stronger each day,
you will always be handsome in my eyes,
you’re my Romeo and I’m your Juliet,
together we will watch the sunset,
and watch the sun rise,
you are very special to me,
my love for you is unconditional and pure,
it’s all true,
I appreciate everything you do for me,
I’m a very lucky girl,
to have love so unconditional and true,
from an amazing guy like you.

How Much Longer Must We Sit Here

You’re like the lyrics to a catchy song,
always stuck in my head for days,
and always so long,
imp more confused than a freshmen in high school,
one wrong move and I look like a fool,
my nerves are like the lead in a pencil,
you just keep writing so much and its gradually warring me down to the to the eraser,
when you told me you wanted to date other people,
my heart sunk like the titanic in the Atlantic ocean,
it hurts me because I still love you more than an author loves to write a chapter,

you have me wondering if you still want our relationship as much as I do,
I feel miserable,
like I a have the flu,
waiting for you to make up your mind is too painful,

how much longer must we sit in agony before we get it together?
I hope we don’t sit here too much longer.

Lighthouse

I’ve never felt a love as phenomenal as yours,

You have embraced me with your love even when I don’t deserve it,

And for you I will sing from the bottom of my heart and at the top of my lungs,

When I think about taking my last breath,

You always show me a million reasons why I should keep breathing,

I always run to you with rivers of tears racing down my face,

And holding the Pieces of my shattered heart in the palms my hands,

I know that my most fragile possession is safe in your hands,

Not only do you mend what is broken you give it strength,

You teach me how to forgive and forget,

You have taken me down many frightening and painful roads,

But only to make me wiser and prepared,

You have always had a hand in every situation I have been in,

And without you I wouldn’t be the person I am standing here today,

To you I owe more than my life,

I owe you the person that you have made me become,

You are like my lighthouse,

When I see your never failing light gleaming as bright as the blinding sun,

I know that I’m never alone even when the sun is shining and there isn’t a
cloud sight,

You give me strength,

You give me hope,

You strengthen my faith,

You are my safe place to run too,

The only person I owe my life too,

And most of all you are my forever love.
