A Boy and a Girl

He holds her tight, As they sit on the bed of the truck, Looking up at the stars, Without a care in the world, Caught up in the moment, He gets up and turns the radio on, And they slow dance all night long, He said he loved her, She said she loved him, He said he meant it, Her eyes started to water and she held him closer They saw a shooting star They made a wish He asked if hers came true She said, "Yes it has. You love me and mean it." She asked if his came true He said, "Yes, I know what it feels like to fall in love."
