Broken Reflection(Save Yourself)

Reflection in the mirror.
It couldn't be anymore clearer.
I look past this reflection.
Hidden behind the flesh.
A bloody mess.
Can you tell me something?
How can a heart still beat when it's beyond beaten?
I know I can't take this life for granted.
Can't waste a second.
What do you do when your lungs hurt to breathe?
What do you do when every day you wake up to grieve?
Finding solitude only in the form of an alcoholic beverage.
Drinking in this poison that illudes your mind.
Feeling worthless, just wanting to pass the time.
Look at yourself!
You're filling a void, an empty space.
Believing that this allusion in your mind will replace.
Everything you ever loved.
You're destroying yourself.
Nothing can take the place of what's left.
When will you realize that?
I know your heart has been broken.
I know you feel like your love has been stolen.
Looking in the mirror, a broken reflection.
Tired of the lies.
Are you dead or alive?
You're killing yourself everytime you take another drink.
So open your eyes and give yourself time to think.
Don't bury yourself in a constant state of hate.
Put the bottle down, before it's a second too late.

Buried At Sea.

I watch the ocean waves from underneath it all.
Deep down.
It's getting harder to breathe.
This water makes its way into my lungs.
You're suffocating me.
Asphyxiation.
Just leave me here, you haven't changed at all.
You fall apart, every time you start.
Just start realizing you can't replace the hole that you put in my heart.
One last breath to say goodbye.
I'll tell myself a final lie.
"I'll make it out alive."
The only thing that can feel this hole is the water that buries me at sea.
It'll feel the void, complete me.
Will I ever feel my limbs again?
Is this the end of my suffering?
I don't feel like waking up.
I can't wake up.
I can't see the sunrise anymore.
I have sunken to the ocean floor.

Staring Into My Own Reflection(Inspired By Rain Cerdiwin Keetly)

if you can see into the depths of my heart
you would hear it sing the saddest song
for those who have looked for meaning in tragedy
for those have suffered terminally
for i have fallen just like them
i have been forsaken
i've looked into your eyes and i see my own reflection
i see the tears you have cried
i know you are alone and afraid
your innocence betrayed
but look into these eyes
i have struggled and suffered just like you
grab my hand you'll no longer be alone
just think this through
for i have fallen just like you
let's stop this trend of sinking
for we are not alone
together we can break this threshold
locked in this embrace
together we will not break
bound together by something stronger than super glue
will you think this through?
will you realize that i'm just like you?
just look into this heart
don't let this world tear us apart
for i have suffered just like you
together we shall never fall
nothing can push our backs up against a wall
we will break through!
believe in me! i believe in you!

Blinded By "beauty"

If only she had known.
Then maybe she would have saved you.
Maybe she wouldn't have turned her back.
So that you wouldn't have to face this all alone.
She swore to him that this would never end.
Another lie, if only he had seen this coming.
The water overflowing.
A beating heart lying exposed.
Left to die alone.
And she turned her back on you.
With zero regards for the consequences.
She only thought about herself.
And the shadows casted so thin at first.
Leading to an overwhelming darkness.
What could he have done to prevent this?
Where'd she go when he needed her the most?
Another question going unanswered.
Just look what you've done.
You place the blame on everyone but yourself.
Trying to cover up all of these lies.
Your jaded veil, a facial disguise.
You left him for the vultures to feast upon.
Oh my God.
He would give anything to escape this shattered place you made his world.
Will he ever make it out alive?
He's craving something new.
Something to open his eyes.
Sick of being drowned by a traitor in a once beautiful disguise.
I'm coming for you tonight.
You'll never make this out alive.
I'm sick of your bull####.
Unimaginable lies.
This is the death of you.
You've forgotten what it's mean to breathe.
He let you get to his heart.
He let you wrap your hands around his soul.
But now his life is in my hands, and I will break the chains of your control.
You'll never make it out alive.
You'll never You'll never make this out alive.
Is this the end?
The end of you?
I hate to say I told you so.
Don't tell me this is not what you want.
I'm taking ahold of this.
I stand in front of you, you've become a mute.
Not saying a word.
Coward.
I will set my ground.
And without a sound.
I'll pull the trigger to save a life.
He will now make this out alive.

This Is Not Finished

I will not shape my life to fit your mold.
How could your heart be so ice cold!?
You can't change me.
You can't shape me.
I will not be anything like you.
I cannot believe the things i pushed myself to do.
All for you.
But now we stand on opposite sides.
Enemies.
You're a child of the day.
I'm a child of the night.
You no longer belong in my life.
I'm sick of pretending.
It's time for me to find some meaning.
A purpose.
So tired of tormenting my mind.
I can no longer play this game.
I know that you will not change.
And neither will I.
I have finally figured you out.
I am finally able to truly be alive.
I have finally wrapped myself completely around your mind.
And now it's my time to leave.
I tighten my fists, wrapped around my things.
The only place that you'll be seeing me from now on, is in your dreams.
So when you toss and turn in your bed all night and can't find a way to sleep.
Just guess where I will be.
So far away, without a trace of you running through my head.
I've buried you in my mind.
Do I have to say this again?
You're dead.
You can't sleep?
You can't breathe?
What can I do?
What do you need?
You can swallow your tongue.
It has already turned to rust.
The lies you have told cannot be undone.
Choking on every breath just like it's your last.
I can see right through you.
Your lungs have turned to black and blue.
Now that i'm not there, you abuse yourself.
Swallow your tongue.
Has the breathing gotten too hard?
You can't feel your lungs?
You can't feel anything?
You're sinking.
Drowning.
You're being buried like an anchor at sea.
Dropping to the bottom of the world.
As these oceans suffocate your lungs.
You're swallowing the nastiness that is your tongue.
Your lungs smashed to pieces.
There's nothing left.
I am a slave.
Shackled by chains.
My heart never strays.
No matter how many days.
Days that we spend away.
You're buried in the sea.
I have cast you aside.
I'll never understand how you meant so much to my life.
Because as much as it hurts me.
A part of you will always reside in my heart.
Sometimes I cannot believe myself.
I cannot help to hurt myself.
I said that I would have waited for you forever.
I'm a victim of a heart that never strays.
You're dead.
But still you punish me.
Can someone please save me?
If not, then just finish me off.
We'll meet at the bottom of the sea.
We'll never be apart.
This is my death or my salvation.
Am I a martyr or just another murder victim?

With You In Mind

tell me what you were thinking.
i want to know what ran through your mind.
as you packed all your bags and left me behind.
you left without even the simplest form of sentiment.
you had the best of me.
now i feel like nothing more than the protagonist in a tragedy.
a screenplay consisting of empty words.
you are nothing but a liar.
i write this with you in mind.
i wonder what you were so afraid of.
i wonder why you would abandon love.
the acts of a traitor.
i wish i could rid myself completely of you.
don't you know that i would have never left you behind.
this is the thanks i get, for always keeping you locked in my mind.
falling for every word that you spoke.
sinking like a ship into a sea of falsified hopes.
if i had known, i would have packed my bags.
and left you long before you left me.
now i lie in this bed, writing letters never to be sent.
releasing my mind from this torture and torment.
i can't let this keep wearing on my heart.
i'll give anything to escape this place.
as i finish writing this letter, i turn in my bed.
Sleeping with a ghost.
How could you let go?
it's been said,"to give is better than to receive."
i've given my all to you.
i set myself up to receive nothing but failure in return.
why can't i just rid you from my mind?
you were the one who left me behind and let this burn.
i just wonder what crossed your mind as you crossed that line.
i wish i didn't care about you.

Animal Cruelty

Animal cruelty is an ongoing and sickening epidemic. I'll never understand how thoughts can
creep into a human being's mind that would make them want to harm a defenseless pet. I
wrote this poem after four teenagers went out of their way to cause pain and torture to a cat
in my hometown. This poem is written from an animal's perspective somewhat.

Defenseless.
Looking into your eyes as he's whipped and you show zero remorse.
Beating him with blunt and traumatic force.
You brutalize innocence with no intention to repent.
Breaking his back as you show a lack of self-respect.
Confused by actions that cannot be forgiven.
My stomach sickens.
How can you live with acts you have committed?
A vulnerable object that had no chance to fight.
Can you justify why you felt the need to end his life?
The hands of a murderer, you show no shame.
Your only means of actions to cause violence and pain.
You looked directly into his somber eyes as you broke his body.
Anger and resentment shown towards an unsophisticate form of life.
The color crimson covered your hands as you tore him apart.
Piece by piece.
Ripping him at the seams as you lessened yourself as a man.
Never will I be able to look into your eyes the same way again.
This is unforgivable, it's not permissable, it's unexplainable.
You are a poison to this earth.
You have fed your wretched soul on the weak and still regret evades your mind.
You corrupt, repulsive piece of work.
You'll run out of luck.
This charade won't last another moment.
You took someting full of life and just turned into a fragment.
What runs through your brain?
What fills your heart?
How do you look your eyes into the mirror so unscathed?
How can you live with so much hate?
You ended a life without an ounce of morality holding you back!
You tortured your victim, forcing your hands on him until he cracked.

Lifelessness.
No signs of torment or guilt filling your eyes.
Your time will run out.
The hourglass spilling just like the blood of your victim.
Eternal condemnation awaits.
You will lose this game.
Tolerance of your actions is something no human will embrace.

Serenity, the Bridge That Brought You To Thee

how could a girl so sweet and elegant, like the most beautiful flower to exist, like the sun
that sets in the east, be able to bring me to my knees, with tears streaming down my face, i
look into those eyes, SERENITY, bleeds from the eyes of thee, we built this bridge from the
northwest down to the south, the biggest smile comes across her mouth, we built this on our
own, now we stand face to face, a picture perfect showing, by the grace of the gods, and
with our own bare hands we built this bridge from the ground up, with the finest forms of
gold, now the beauty is ours, for the two of us to hold, don't let go girl, just take my hand, i'll
place the whole world in your palms, you've given me the ability to stand on my own two
feet again, everything is ours! you wipe the tears that fall down my cheek, that have
covered the skin on my face, who knew the void in my heart could be so easily replaced, the
light from heaven lays its hands down on us, the grace of your hands, such an elegant
touch, this means so much, we built this golden bridge from the ground up. Everything will
be fine. your eyes lock to mine, there is nothing that could have the power to bring this
down, we'll stand here till the end of time! don't lose hope. keep the faith. realize that this is
our place. our place in life. the silence exalts thee, not a word needs to be said, i can see the
story written so delicately on your precious face, your smile brings me to my knees, dear
God please, what we've given to save ourselves. what's happened between us, oceans have
bridged us far apart, nothing could separate the passion in our hearts, the breathing never
got too hard, i look into the eyes of an angel, we've written the pages of our own gospel. this
is a story of courage, strength, perseverance, devotion, and and a woman and a man.
whose backs have been pressed up against the the wall for far too long! now we stand hand
in hand, as the sun beats down our necks, the breathing has gotten easier, now that we are
not so far apart.

Living Or Just Breathing

it's times like these when you are at your lowest point

when you are on your knees with your head held down

oh , how vulnerable you must be

Get up

and get that dirt off of your jeans

Don't let them see you like this

Oh, please just rise up and realize that your life has meaning

You're so much stronger than you look

I swear, just don't turn your back on the ones that you love

the ones who never gave up on you

you push, you pull, you thrive to survive

but how can you succeed when you haven't even opened your eyes

it appears that you have hit rock bottom but you just need to stop following the trends and
beliefs of this dying generation

oh yes, stand up, rise above, with both of your eyes wide open

Live your life and know what it means to succeed

Be yourself and live to live

Not just to breathe

Angel of Integrity Part Two

Dear God,
She arrived with tears in her eyes.
Knees locked.
I whispered, "Leave your past at the door."
I dried your tears with my thumbs.
I took a breath deep into my lungs.
I felt my heart press up against my ribs.
I felt your soul brush up against my lips.
My angel of integrity!
With every step that you take with me,
I promise you sincerity.
Your soul has been battered.
Your heart turned into a cold cadaver.
You graze your fingers in between mine,
feel the warmth of my skin as it penetrates through your blood stream.
You are my angel of integrity!
Breathing life into the lifeless.
Like a match, we lock eyes, set fire, and ignite this.
Let it burn.
Watch as our whole world turns.
I will always meet you with grace and the simplest sincerity.
