Spiritual Warfare

We war not against flesh and blood of man you see,
but In the spirit is where our battles are mean't to be.

For when we battle against flesh and blood of mankind,
deeper in troubles and sorrows ourselves shall we find.

When we take it in the spirit to fight,
then we will stand in Gods Glorious Light!

For this warfare is with darkness and his own,
warring in the flesh, God does not condone!

For the spirits that once drove us to do as we did,
has now gone into others and in them hid!

It's not the person, it's the spirit that's in them you see,
coming against flesh and blood, there will be no victory.

This spiritual warfare can not be seen with the human eye,
it is led by Jesus in the Holy-Spirit through you and I.

Warfare means to battle, it doesn't mean just pray,
but you must fight in the spirit this did Jesus say.

Put on the whole Armor of God that ye may be able to stand,
standing against darkness with the Word of God, for its our sword in hand.

For when you war against flesh and blood it shall only tear you down,
then we are in sin, not having on Christ's Wedding Gown!

For God said not to war against mankind,
when you do, your own victories you will bind!

For the only way to defeat darkness is in the spirit you see,
warring in the spirit will bring you your Victory!

If you want victory in your life- then take your battles in the spirit,
put on Gods Armor, speak out His word, in Faith, the darkness will hear it.

Then shall you defeat the true enemy, and not tear down flesh and blood,
then shall your victories start pouring in like a flood!

Life's Rollercoasters

Day after day moment by moment second by second you see,
life's rollercoaster of thought's feeling's and emotion's delivered to you and me.
We all go through our own unique fair share,
yes, we all have our own rollercoaster to bare.
It's not easy sometimes just to try and catch your breath I know,
the up's and down's the insides and outsides we go.
Pulled and yanked around tossed here and there,
here's a twist of perception I'd like with to you share.
Life is all about growing, learning to change with the change,
if we are not growing each day we're not living, think this strange?
If we aren't living, then we're already dead, this is what I see,
life's rollercoaster trying to strengthen both you and me.
Let your heart rule each thought of the mind,
walk in Gods Spirit, and you won't be blind
You will learn to grow with each changing faze of your life,
everything we have been through, with all of it's strife.
Learn to live and grow with each good thought, feeling, and emotion's I say,
Look for a positive outcome in all things you encounter today.
Do this without giving up or or giving in,
looking for positive outcomes, you'll learn how to win!

Live2learn Learn2live

We live to learn, We learn to live,
it's not what we take, it's from the heart we give.
It's not about getting what we want, but in having what we need,
to grow a garden, you must first plant the seed.
You only draw out, whatever you put in you see,
help those who are around you, and be all you can be.
When we live 2 learn, in each passing day,
we learn to live in a totally different way.
Life is more than just living you see,
it's about being all that we can be.
Let's be life, as we learn to live,
our word's are the seed's, our fruit's in which we give.
By the fruit of our tree, we feed life or death,
live to learn, and learn to live with each passing breath.
Helping those in need, with a humble heart, you see,
living to learn, and learning to live so free!

Flesh Against Spirit

This war between the flesh and spirit,
when it begins you can really feel it.
For your flesh wants to do the things that are wrong,
and your spirit wants you to sing a victory song.
Then you get caught up between the two,
and it really makes a wreck of you!
You feel like your going to lose total control,
as your flesh wars against your soul.
You want to give up for the shape your in,
but the spirit continues to war from within.
You begin to do and say things that shouldn't be,
because the flesh and spirit do not agree.
You begin to feel like you've lost it all,
but that's when on God you should call!
For when the battles over we have chosen our way,
by the things we did and what we did say!
Did we let the flesh take control,
or did we call on God to strengthen our soul?
It's our choice whether we win or lose,
we're free moral agents, we must choose.
If we let the flesh win over our soul,
then we are a step farther from our goal!
But if we called upon God in that time you see,
then we stand with our soul in Sweet Victory!

In a Parlor Reading a Book

Here I set in a parlor reading a book,
gotta keep my face down, don't wanna look.
It's all women and girls in here except for me,
I'm waiting for my mom to get done you see.
They all keep telling me go ahead your next,
oh I feel like my world has now been hexed.
I can hear what these girls will be saying in the classroom,
tomorrow when school's goin, I'm skipping, not facing the doom!
For the now I'll set here and read a book,
back in the corner of this girl filled Parlor's nook!

Now At 62

I've been writing since I was 13 and I am 62 year's of young age,
we live, we learn, we grow, day after day life turns the page.
I have been on many different poetry sight's since 1975 you see,
the truth about the different sight's show's only one difference to me.
The only thing that makes them different than the other's is the name,
they are all geared to make money, which makes them all the same.
If you are not a payed member you don't fit in with their click.
that gives you a 99% chance that as a winner you won't be the pick.
So sad but yet these words are so very heart breaking true,
you have to be a payed member to get them to notice you.
I am in many poetry anthology books, and several was even put on tape, you see,
They weren't a poetry sight where you a payed member you must be.
We write our heart's, soul's and mind's down on paper for whomsoever to read,
with word's of love, forgiveness, knowledge with wisdom of life I feed.
Not a payed member, really mean's, it's truly all about the money you won't rise and shine, as they do,
you want to become a good poet, and get other's to notice you.
Then you have to know, see, and understand the truth in the words I write,
the only way I know to be equal, and fair, is start a new kind of poetry site.
One that is different in every way shape, form and a totally different fashion,
where everyone's work's are shown and presented the same, the standing out is left to passion
I am checking in on starting this different site, and give it life you see,
where a payed member just gets to use all the tools for free.

Good and Bad

Good and bad? yes you can be, but only for just a season,
listen close to my words, I will give you the very reason.

One bad apple spoils the whole bushel you see,
trying to live both sides will eventually drive you and me.

A house divided against it's self can not stand,
good and evil we should never mix, I hope you truly understand.

For the truth of the whole matter is this I say,
we are either life or death a blessing or cursing on our way
A double minded person is unstable in every move he makes, it's true,
so don't let good and evil at the same time, take up residency in you!

Alive and Well

To whomsoever it may concern,
something to truly discern.
God is alive and well this day,
don't forget to kneel and pray.
Some say that there is no God,
while in their darkness they trod.
Blind from within they can't see,
yet want to lead you and me.
If they can't find a way to deceive,
they try to steal what we believe.
God is and always will be alive and well you see,
For a child of God are you and me.
Call upon His mighty name today,
His light over power's the darkened way.
Go ahead give God a loud shout,
doing so in faith without a doubt.
God is alive and well to those who believe,
believe in Him and you will receive -
OUR GOD, OUR FATHER IS ALIVE AND WELL,
THIS TRUTH ON THE HOUSE TOP'S YELL!

You Should'Ve Seen It Coming

As I sit here in my chair, something just didn't feel right,
I scratched my head, rubbed my face trying to broaden my sight.
I though and mediated for hour's and hour's, with not even a clue,
what is this feeling that came over me, what am I to do?
I had to have drank 4 pots of coffee and smoked cigarettes all the while,
then my phone rang, it was my attorney, he said would take it to trial.
I wasn't sure how to tell him, that I wasn't being charged anymore,
so I got up from my chair, started pacing the floor.
I told my attorney I didn't need him, he ask me why?
well I laughed so hard I thought we were both going to cry.
I told him I was no longer in the pasture, the place where I was being charged you see,
now there were 2 fences between the assailant and me.
He ask if there were any officer's around in whom he could speak,
I told him I wasn't going back through that field forever and a week.
I was charged twice already, almost had to hire you to keep from getting charged again,
you should've seen it coming, I was being charged by a bull and not by men.

Judge -Mental

Here I sit in walmart's parking lot, in a daze,
thinking maybe I should change my ways.
As I look out around me, what would I see?
a bunch of knuckle-head's passing by me.
I heard one say to the other one, I give it a ten,
the other-did you see the front side wren?
Sure but the more I judge them gal's, I say,
da more judge -mental I seem stay.
